Another Jim on the forum. The basic JDM comes with 17" wheels, the 18" is an option though the S and ST models seem to have them as standard.

Can't believe I missed this thread before. This was my first - a 1954 Morris Minor, with split windscreen and original pop-up "trafficators". I bought it in 1969 for £10; the original 803cc side-valve engine had seized so I towed it home, picked up a more recent Morris Traveller with a good 998cc engine but rotten bodywork, swapped the engine into the saloon and was on the road for £25 plus a couple of days hard work.

This was a major news item on Reporting Scotland this evening. The footage was filmed at RAF Lossiemouth. The guy who did the break dancing has raised thousands for cancer charities, apparently. He has been interviewed for CBS and other news channels all over the world, following the YouTube release. I was told that it was on the NATO exercise in belgium as WoREoD mentioned... Just seen the late news - the senior aircraftsman, Dean Fabreham, confirmed that the footage was taken in Belgium.

Was this for re-trimming the whole of the rim, or just the lower half as in the standard Alezan interior trim?

Where is the place you were getting the quote from? I think someone posted a thread some time ago about a re-trimmer in the Glasgow area who did a good job but I can't remember the details now. Maybe a search would be worthwhile. Edit - It was a company in Kirkintilloch - Scottish Motor Trimmers & Upholsterers Ltd. The importer I used (MacKays) quoted me £500 for leather seats as an option when I bought the car - he presumably had someone in the Edinburgh area who did the work for him.
