But you're going to anyway - You can convert that figure by multiplying it by 4.5 (litres to gallons) then dividing by 5/8 (kilometres to miles). That means you are getting 23.9 miles per gallon!

I'm using my daughter's old Punto just now, so the Z is tucked up in the garage most of the time. Will sell the Punto in the Spring though.

My old man made my first sledge when I was about 5, and I remember using it every year - it snowed by December most years, and often lasted until March, on and off. I also did a lot of skiing in the late 1960s - no problems wondering if it would snow then either. I think it was in 1969 that we went to Aviemore late on in the season - late April or early May - went skiing in the morning, back down at lunchtime and it was warm enough for a swim in Loch Morlich in the afternoon!

Agree with Sarnie - that definitely appeared on here sometime last year. Hard frost expected here overnight - think I'll leave the Z in the garage tomorrow and take the Punto to work.
