  1. Mr fooking pedantic If you were my teacher I would of let down all your tyres, every day Somebody has to maintain standards you know.
  2. That's good to know because it's very near me here in Larbert. Saying that, I have been very happy with the service I have had from my local independent just along the road - Muirhall Motors. Do you know if Hypertech can do laser wheel alignment?
  3. Take it it was a female passenger then? Charlie warned you about people on this site! by the way, and I like the car.
  4. Good to hear from you again Gus. Have you picked up the thread about a Central Scottish meet on 29th June?
  5. We need a little write up with pics in the Guides section. Anyone want to oblige? Ill give a go considering my vast knowledge in car mechanics... one of these (otherwise known as an Irish screwdriver)... lol
  6. Couldn't have been Bridgeton - it still had its wheels.
  7. Absolutely. Might have to get some more done (don't tell her indoors). I notice nobody has commented on my silver vents in the door jambs, or my fancy Jap double din stereo!
  8. Just had a look again at the title of this thread - it has 19' alloys (that's 19 feet) instead of 19". Now that would be scary!
  9. That's a really good route - I know most of the roads and can confirm that some fun can be had (within the legal limits of course). Luke - I know the Clyde Valley tourist route is an interesting road but the surface is a bit rough in places and we could get badly held up if there's the usual Sunday traffic going to all the garden centres!
  10. Give CoolHandLuke a pm - I met him today and he might be interested in the tonneau cover.
  11. I would agree with Derek about the Livingston branch of Arnold Clark. They are certainly better than MacHargs in Glasgow or AC in Stirling.
  12. Sarnie, don't hold back - just say what you really think! Not my cup of tea either, I must admit.
  13. Tam, and enjoy the Zed. I live near Falkirk but my office is in Glasgow, so I'll keep an eye out for you. Try and get some pics up soon.
  14. Hu Flung Dung? or Man with deformity - Wun Hung Lo
  15. You'll get the OEM 350Z badges from any Nissan dealer for about that price. They are all made of plastic with a metallic paint coating I think. They come with a little template to ensure that the separate numbers are all lined up properly. When I did mine, I just left the original Z badge on and replaced the rest. The spare Z badge is now on my cubby in the centre console.
  16. Have a good search on here - there was a thread on this last year some time I'm sure. I think there is a problem about getting a replacement with the windscreen heater but you should be able to get an ordinary screen OK.
  17. That's quite something to confess online, Sarnie! Congratulations.

    Envy?

Thanks for clearing this up Kevin. As said before, I'll be keeping an eye out for it around town and try to get a photo maybe. Cheers
  21. Chris, I would be interested in the boot cover, but I see a "high" bid has been submitted and I don't want to bid against anyone on here. Anybody want to own up?

    Best Oil

I've used Silkolene from Opie Oils (with forum discount) for the last two years. Very happy with it. Mind you, my car has never been near a Nissan dealer for servicing, at least not outside Japan that is.
