    New Runabout!

    linky worky fine for me
  3. I can recommend the air con cleaner - worked well for me last summer.
  4. On the same theme, here's one for Stew - What do you call a sheep tied to a lamp post in Aberdeen? A leisure centre!
  5. Surely the phone microphones are the small round black objects at the top of the picture? They look exactly like the ones in our Qashqai.
  6. Stick to the kongs or the indestructible rubber balls. You don't need a lot of toys - only one at a time and always at your choosing - don't leave them lying around for the dog to choose. For great exercise, I would recommend a frisbee. Pet stores sell a few types, but the one we use is an open circle rather than a flat disc.
  7. Football tonight. A no brainer.
  8. Get a long lead and a bag of treats. Make him sit and stay then walk way, turn and after a wait call him to you. If he comes reward him immediately with a treat. Don't shout if he doesn't - that only gets them excited. After he comes to you from close distances, gradually increase the distance until you can trust him to come from anywhere.
  9. Congratulations to you both. Hope you enjoy and long and fruitful marriage.
  10. Guilty as charged. He does know his dogs, though.
  11. Rescue dog - well done! Looks like you will get lots of advice on here. Main thing is to be firm, assertive and calm at all times. You are the pack leader so you have responsibility and your dog can relax and enjoy life. Not sure what the harness is all about - it's not a good idea to let your dog pull you along - you should always be slightly in front of him. On the other hand, if the harness is being used to get him to pull something else along (ie he is working), that's a great idea and the dog will love it. He looks like a great dog - enjoy.
  12. Thanks Derek - I'll give him a call.

    3M tape....

For wheels I hope I know it's not cool to say so, and you won't understand, but I like my standard JDM 17" wheels.

    3M tape....

He certainly is - one roll of tape received today. Many thanks Phil. PS - I'll be in touch soon to place an order.
  15. Think you're right. The courtesy parts caps are 60mm in diameter and mine are 54mm.
  16. Derek, I was thinking of getting Chipsaway to sort a couple of dings on my passenger door. I'm in Larbert - do you think it would be the same guy that would do it?
  17. Anywhere I can source them in the UK? I have seen them on courtesy parts website for $100, but want to avoid importing if I can. Also, will these fit the JDM 17" wheels?
  18. All base model JDMs come with 17" wheels as standard. I think the ST has the 18" ones. Change to Toyos or Falkens - the consensus on here is that they are way ahead of the Bridgestones. Camskill are currently offering the Toyo T1 R for £97 and the Falken ZE 512 for £64.
  19. Around 5.00pm today, heading towards Fife. Might have been the same one I saw yesterday at a similar time heading towards Dunfermline. Waved, but no reaction.

    3M tape....

It's for the carbon fibre front lip, Nixy. I think the velcro would take up too much space for this job. Good tip on searching eBay, though. I'll give it a go if I can't find the stuff locally.

  23. Congratulations, Sarnie. Hope everything goes well over the next few weeks.
