Tim, I seem to remember that you trimmed the door armrests on yours. Is that right? Do you have pictures? Edit - never mind, Tim - I found the thread with your door armrest pics. Looks great.

In the guide that GIXXER posted, it says that you have to disconnect the battery if the car has side impact air bags before disconnecting the block under the seats.. Do our JDMs have these? no ours dont have these , but it's always best to disconnect the battery whenever unplugging a block connector as it may throw up a fault light Thanks Tim. Always better safe than sorry!

If I want to remove seats for re-trimming, are there any potential problems with electrical connections? Is it necessary to disconnect the battery before removal, for example? Doesn't seem to be anything in the guides about this.

If I had known you were after it Nixy, I would have conceded earlier! It's a pity that one of us at least didn't win it, though. I'm going to keep looking for one of these. Wonder who did win it? - nobody on here by the looks of it. It did occur to me that the reason that the JDM did not come with this item as standard is that the Japanese are more law-abiding than us and they don't feel the need to hide what's in the boot.

I've just been outbid for it. Anyone know where else I can get one of these?

The Honda stubby is the one most people go for. They are available on eBay right now.

Thanks for that - in the old days we used to call that bracket exposures - you could choose the best negative to print from your contact sheet. The difference now is the ability to combine the exposures to achieve these brilliant effects. Oh, by the way, you need a stubby.

Is the UK DVD player for the SatNav only, or does it feed AV signals to the screen and speakers as well? The reason I ask is that the JDM DVD part name has AV and Navi on it, while the UK part name only has Navi.
