  1. and enjoy the Z. Is it just me, or have there been lots of new members recently?
  2. you've set me off now...I will get mine out tomorrow, Steady on there, Tim, the girls might read this thread
  3. Excellent job, Tim. You must post some wider angle pics so that we can see the complete picture.
  4. I've not trusted mine to a Nissan dealer - the only ones around here seem to be Arnold Clark - nuff said! I have used a local independent that was recommended to me and I trust.
  5. Stew - you were really lucky with the weather. Some of my colleagues had some difficulties the day you set off, and the A9 was bad the following day, with snow gates closed etc. Looking forward to seeing your pics.
  6. Saw this in the same area. It's been posted before, I think, so apologies in advance, but it made me laugh again.
  7. As the title suggests, I am planning a few days in Rome in July. Any suggestions for a quiet, comfortable hotel not too far from the main tourist sights would be most welcome. Oh, and I don't want to part with an arm and a leg for the pleasure! (Yes - "mean Scottish git" before you all say it!)

    Wheel help needed!

Too true The local council have apparently asked the police to clamp down on the loud exhausts. They're going to be busy!

Yes - I've seen that one a couple of times too. It could be Argyll, formerly Tosker. He's from around this area. Derek ZR (Azure roadster) is not too far away either. Chris from JDMPerformance (formerly Funkystyling) is in Bo'ness.

    Wheel help needed!

I usually get the Glasgow train at 8:00 and am back just before 6:00 pm.
  11. I didn't know about the small horizontal cover that fits onto the rear hatch. Does anyone know if I could fit it to an 03 JDM? I made my own vertical tonneau cover for a fraction of the price that Nissan quote, and from what others have said, I reckon it fits better! It's just a matter of cutting a template from cardboard, using that to cut a piece of MDF to fit, then covering it with suitable black material. I also added a Z badge to mine.
  12. to the site. I'm in Larbert, as is scotZ, and there are quite a few more from Scotland. Stew in Aberdeen is a regular poster, Paul has the green one, and Gus occasionally pops up. Chris from JDMPerformance (formerly Funkystyling) is also based near here. Like Big Phil, he offers lots of extras for the Z as well as other Japanese cars. Stew is trying to organise a run out in the NW Highlands later this year - worth keeping an eye out for details.

    Wheel help needed!

Good to hear from you again scotZ. Hope you get something sorted out with the wheels. I keep seeing your car in the station car park - you must get there very early to get a space so near the road. I usually end up parking away at the back, well away from other cars if I can!
  14. +1 The wheels really suit the roadster.
  15. Seems like a good price despite the mileage.
  16. Take a look at the questions and his answers.
  17. These cheered me up after a long week at work.
  18. Thats what i think as well thats why I have never used it
  19. Thanks Tim - that's what I thought - too big a job to make it worthwhile. I like the idea of the remote control, except..... what happens if you drop it and you're fumbling around on the floor, take your eyes off the road for a second and ......
  20. Sorry to hijack the thread, guys, but..... Tim, quick questions - does your steering wheel have stereo controls? If not, have you ever considered swapping it for one which does, and would it be possible to connect it through the existing wiring in the JDM?
