Dales great, but avoid weekends /bank holidays, loads of coaches. North Yorkshire Moors great roads. If you decide on the Dales, Swinton Park Hotel at Masham is fabulous.

I entirely agree Colin, but if I switched from the Bridgestones to Michelin's would I notice more road roar. Noticed your avatar Have you tried, "Abbesse" from the Loire very drinkable.

I have been reading recent posts about tyres which all seem to point to Michelin's being the best tyre, but in the 2016 Evo survey they came out worst for road noise etc. As my 370 is a weekend/holiday car it spends a lot of its time on motorways/ autobahns etc so road roar is a big factor for me, I currently have Bridgestones fitted REo50's. Road noise wise is there a better tyre out there.

Is it possible in future to show the location where the photo was taken, there are some great backgrounds particularly in the desk calendar. If anyone is interested June was shot by the Canal du Nivernais in Burgundy.

My speed camera alert gizmo has died on me and I am thinking of replacing with one that also incorporates a dash cam. Had a look at the snooper DVR-4HD anyone got one or knows if they are any good. Thanks

The 370 has an intermittent starting issue . I sometimes have to go through the ignition sequence 6 or 7 times before she fires. I have read somewhere that it may be associated with the clutch pedal. Anyone had a similar issue. Cheers

Just got back from France, no problem getting 98 fuel, but if possible fill up near towns etc not on the motorway, 98 fuel on motorway 1.67euros per litre, in towns best I got was 1.36euros.

Saw two 370's on our trip, a dirty white one in Northern Burgundy and a black north of Rouen, didn't get an acknowledgement to my flash.

Just got back Tuesday, Hull, Zeebrugge, Burgandy, Dordogne, Chartres, Zeebrugge home. 1,950 miles not bad aged 70.

Looks like you had a fantastic time, we have just got back from a road trip to France, Burgandy then down to the Dordogne, will definitely look at including Puy du Fou for next year. Like you we had load of interest in the 370, had several guys ask if they could take photos. Just love France.

I assume it is a 40th Anniversary edition, if so I would think your only port of call would be the original dealer.
