  1. Sorted, anyone else sold up or purchased a Black edition.
  2. We aren't having our usual European road trip this as we are going to the States for a wedding and making that our main holiday. I still fancy a decent run in the Zed and fancy the tour round the North of Scotland. If anyone has done the trip any advice would be welcome i.e decent places to stay, must visit places etc. Cheers
  3. Lets campaign for a de-militarised zone as in Korea , could be the gap between Sheffield and Lincoln.
  4. I fitted a Stillen to my 370 I think it's just the right mix, not too loud but a vast improvement on the stock exhaust. Where are you in East Yorkshire, I'm just up the coast in Scarborough if you want to have a listen .
  5. I have had a couple of mine re-furbed, no problems.
  6. Let us know what your number is so I can add it to the list of 40th Anniversary owners on the site.
  7. Hello, what number is it? You say it's gunmetal grey, the 40th anniversary edition was only made in black & quartz. From your pictures everything looks like the 40th anniversary except the colour, has it been re-sprayed?
  8. Going Zeebrugge avoids having to go round Brussels, worse than Paris in my opinion, I would go Zeebrugge, Lille then pick up A26/E17 to Reims then the AutoRoute de L'Est straight through to the German Border. Great roads in France 50% less traffic on the motorways. Enjoy the trip.
  9. If you decide to go via North Sea Ferries from Hull, I would recommend Zeebrugge instead of Rotterdam, cuts a good hour of your journey. I have done two/three week road trips in Europe for the last five years so when you decide on a route PM me and I will see if I can recommend any good places to stay.

  11. The North starts where people are friendly and say hello when passing in the street, end of story.
  12. Well done you won't regret it, just done the same at 71.
  13. Sorry Lexx if any of the comments including mine hit a nerve, I accept that some of the comments have not been helpful but most, as said before, have been constructive. Re the free to all comment, I would suggest that as many members that are able to press the donate button and make a donation, as I have in the past. This will ensure an ongoing great forum. Forget the site for a few days and enjoy your holiday with the family.
  14. Apologies for not spotting the thread re post count, reasons noted,
  15. Before the upgrade I had over 2000 posts now only have 1651
  16. Mustadmit I don't like it as much as the old one but no doubt will get used to it eventually. One moan is that every time I log on I have to set the preference to "since last logged on" the default seems to be 365 days, am I missing something here.
  17. I know it's a long shot but any trader out there help me, I really messed up my front alloy in France last month and I don't think it can be refurbished. I know they are rare but worth a try.
  18. RIP Cleggy, never missed the early series of Last of the Summer Wine in the 70's & 80's just brilliant.
  19. List hasn't been updated for awhile any new owners. Full list on page 1
  20. I agree your second option would be the right option and with an increased Tory majority she could be able to agree something along these lines without the fear of a few Tory hardliners voting against.
  21. I'd be really worried if Le Pen wins, the rest of the EU will be scared to death that the Brexit/Le Pen effect spreads throughout the EU, in which case they will really comes down hard on the UK in the Brexit negotiations to send a warning to any other country thinking of doing the same. Getting back to the UK election,I'm hoping for an increased Tory majority which would then allow May to go for a softer Brexit outcome without worrying about her hard line right wing causing problems.
  22. Now I'm retired plenty of time for holidays; April - Belgium with the boys for the beer. May - Porto visiting Port lodges June - 2 weeks touring France in the Zed visiting vineyards Sept - Italian lakes
