All I can say is there are so many roads up there to enjoy it is a real pleasure after putting up with the South East congestion for (most) of the rest of the year . And we now know there is a very good reason for driving up to Durness and so yes I feel Ullapool would be a good base for geeting to Applecross, Kinlochewe as well as the north coast and there are plaenty of B & B's and hotels and eateries

Yep - I'll go with that, and with the clear patches on the ground under the car someone has gone to an awful lot of trouble to make it appear real. Looking at the damage to the armco you wonder if it has slid along that to its resting place

Thanks for that clarification Neil - yes it is for individuals to make their own booking. We are getting the names from Moreton Park about who has booked but of course we need to pair those the forum username hence why we have asked everyone who has booked to add their surnames
