  1. http://www.piesbypost.co.uk/ Hmmmmmmmm come and join our pizza religion but I know what Stew really does like - and those pies are to die for
  2. Which means that if you are unlucky and catch the lips on the kerbs (not too badly), with a lot of patience (Husky style - see his thread on polishing Nixy's exhaust) you can recover the original look
  3. Its already cost me a fortune in compensatory holidays and handbags not sure how much more I can get away with or afford But yes, some of the Zele mods are ace http://www.370zblog.com/category/tuners/zele/
  4. and the greater the wheel size used, such as 20" , the lower the tyre profile making this type of damage more likely unfortunately
  5. because as it may be as Sparky or Sarnie says, but if its an import it could be other things including, IIRC, a connection for a device used for toll road payments
  6. Great find there Stew Not for the feint hearted, eh
  7. Lost count how many times this shot has been posted - but here is the interior of a MY06 (facelift) UK 350 with the optional Alezan leather. The Brodit phone holder and extended socket for the charger was used as it means no holes/sticky things on the interior trim, whilst the curley lead going behind the pod provides power to a Snooper.
  8. Tiff has to be one of the best test drivers around - whereas Clarkson likes to think he is. VBH is also far and away a better driver than Clarkson and we all know her passion for the 350 so I know which opinions carry weight in my book
  9. Brilliant, and a copper using a bit of sense
  10. Utter waste of time - when I did (way back having just turned 50 ) they were the dearest by far - remember it was around £750 for a Scooby turbo - reckon they said an old git driving one of those would be a real risk Currently paying about £350 for no claims and legal protection, no garage (private drive parking), mods (replacements have to be OEM but as they cost more I can live with that) , outskirts of London - was with Privledge but now Admiral for last two years - see what happens at renewal in March
  11. OK guys let's keep it on topic - there's nothing wrong with the spelling
  12. As Husky says the search button is your friend on here, but here is a link that summarizes the changes http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/index.htm?md=1282
  13. Hi Tucks and welcome My last Zed was the same year/spec as yours - having tested the 370 at Silverstone am afraid the 350 had to go Any links to your racing exploits
  14. Many congratulations Does this mean she can drive the ZED , or is that something she has being doing already All the best or the future
  15. ZMANALEX can sort you out and even supplies Brembos painted to colour code with most ZEDs
  16. The loads that are exerted on a tow hook are different from those exerted on a towing eye ...... a towing eye has to be strong enough to take a direct tensile load only whereas a towing hook will have to take the same tensile load plus the vertical load that the trailer exerts (unless the trailer's perfectly balanced of course) .........this additional vertical load will translate into a moment caused by the lever arm length of the tow hook which in turn will cause flexure at the point where it's fixed to the bumper strut ......the result ....failure at the point where the towing arm fixes to the bumper strut, damaging the strut and allowing the trailer to become detached from the car..............so you and the Z could end up at your destination, however, the tow hook, trailer and anything that was on the trailer will definitely not Right.............................and you think what the OP wanted to do: "It's for towing a small trailer carrying a racing Kart or Motorcycle to and from the race track" would result in such a failure?.................only asking
  17. Poking around at the back of my car on the ramp yesterday, I saw the thread in the bumper strut for the tow hook (common to both the 350's and 370's). Given that is strong enough for the car to be pulled backwards (in the same way the front towing eye is used on that bumper strut) got me wondering why a 350z tow hook could not be adapted to include a ball hitch - welded on at a height suitable for the trailer. And easily unscrewed when not in use and the blanking piece re-inserted? I would have thought that would have been fine for a small trialer and means no alterations to the bumper and given the electrics (if necessary) can be fed from connections within the boot. Unless I have missed something very obvious But no good for those with rear cameras in that blanking plate though and , I have no plans to do any towing
  18. As you will know Steve, that's not my car Just me driving at Silverstone and the day that convinced me a 370 was a must But yes, will update when the weather allows for some decent pics
  19. Stillen's own vid is pretty true to form and you can hear the before and after - this is the link I posted up. http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=S ... model=370Z
