  1. Where did you get your tyres fitted Andy as you are not a million miles from neo-ninja and I might need to make use at sometime in the near future Did they have rim protection gear on their fitting machines?
  2. I don't think replacing the 19" with 18" wheels, even as nice as they are, will be on many 40th Anniversary 370 owners lists
  3. see sometimes i just dont understand insurance. Im 25, 4 years no claims and i went through chris knott and mine is £911, just renewed it on saturday! Fair enough if i stayed in a crappy place, but my town was once voted 1st best place to stay in scotland and 3rd in the uk, with 0% crime rate. About 60% of people are pensioners 20% young ones and the other 20% is holiday houses. i dont think i could live in a safer town. I also shopped about going through bell, direct line and the usual comparison websites and that was the cheapest one! unreal!! You answered your own question... one of those pensioners is bound to hit you in their Honda Jazz I just mentioned that to my wife - she said if you would care to pm your address to us based on that comment she will come round her Jazz and oblige, and if she misses I won't There ain't many advantages of getting old, but one is cheaper car insurance, and I am paying less than half what you are for a 370 that is Group 19E - so the chances are, in the insurance companies eyes, is that your car is more likely to be clouted by a younger driver than an older one
  4. welcome to the forum and 370 ownership Looks like you will be making some of our traders happy, but if they can't help I found Stillen provided a great service in getting their exhaust to me viewtopic.php?f=103&t=31681)
  5. Did you have the ice warning showing in the pod, because from what you have described it sounds like you hit some black ice and yes, the traction control and ABS were working overtime to save your neck. Glad you and the car survived OK
  6. Oi! Can you keep your white stuff up north and not send it down 'ere - again
  7. Don't worry Colin, I've got you covered: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/2118092/Worlds-most-expensive-handbag-unveiled.html and its no bigger that most of her purses - think I am safe there - over

Why so long before you posted your spot on 28 Nov
  21. To be fair the author did ask for contributions from BEAVIS and me, so providing the magazine editor has not messed the final draft we saw too much we hope it will appear as a fair resume
  22. I smell a rat too
  23. Robbing gits OK, so I buy 6 months of tax at £222.75 instead of £405.00 at the end of November knowing the 350 was being handed over to the garage in December and I would claim back the 5 months unexpired - so you would think that would be £185.62? What do I get - £168.75 - works out that is 5/12ths of the £405.00 'fee' . OK, so its only £17 odd, but wish I had got the full 12 months now so I would have got a FULL refund. So be warned if you have not come across this wheeze.
