  1. Nicely run-in I see yeah thats what i thought at first Colin but aparently they are run-in properly before being handed out for testing. And also they are made sure they are in tip top condition some times even tweeked up a bit to make sure they beat the compition! I know thats what ford have done before anyway. I would imagine they do get 'extra' attention knowing the likely abuse they get and whilst the likes of Tiff are unlikely to cause any lasting damage some journos out there are, shall we say, lare ess kind and drivetrains can take a beating. But hopefully the cars are given a thorough check before sale. I recall someone on here discovered they had a ZED that had been a long-termer with EVO (I think it was that mag) and several years on they seemed very happy with their purchase, so enjoy yours!
  2. Welcome to the forum The internet has a lot to answer for
  3. The blurb says: Once the bumper is removed, if your vehicle has a metal crash protection bar and the antenna will be within 3 cm's of this metal bar (once the bumper is re-fitted) you can install a 2nd Antenna (included with all PD1 sensors) to prevent any reduction in detection range or insulate the metal crash bar. This is only required on a small number of vehicles but the option is available if required. Just struck me a as a good idea, if they work OK Give it a go and let me know if it works Somehow this smiley seems appropriate if it were a guinea pig Someone out there must have come across these hidden sensors and if they work OK
  4. Believe it was Alex that killed his at over a ton at Knockhill Yep : viewtopic.php?f=9&t=26970&hilit=suspension
  5. Thread split and your first post locked see: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=31017 We can fill in the blanks when offers come up and as you say make it a sticky and keep this thread going for comments/additions
  6. Pleease don't cry - I would hope its only a discharged battery having not started the car for that amount of time
  7. I wonder if '350 ZEE' would be the top plate in the States, given the way they describe Z's
  8. Useful find, and seeing other 'How-to' on there related to the ZEDs
  9. Saw that Evian ad on telly the other night - absolutely brilliant Love the slalom bit - got to be one of the best ads of all times

  11. Many congratulations - you have Now, where does that baby seat fit in the ZED
  12. Anyone had any first-hand experience of these - see link, or any others that work well? http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/
  13. This link should help with the codes: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/OBD-II_C ... e_Codes%29
  14. Nice sign-off but look forward to seeing you back sometime in a 370
  15. Looks good Take care in these conditions if your last 'wheels' were MR2 based, as 276 horses through the rear wheels in a ZED is an altogether different animal.......but given the right conditions then......
  16. Especially when they could be more wisely playing poker until dawn, eh
  17. Welcome to the forum In answer to your query check this out: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=62 The second link has some really useful stuff on wheels and tyres and on the 2nd page there is a calculator to give you the answer you are looking for. Many ZED owners have upgraded from 17" (on import models only) and I am sure someone may be along who can recommend a good set-up they have used
  18.
