    amazing zorst mod

I've seen one - in that case the LEDS were red (not bright) but flashing - went well with the Chav Corsa it was on I thought
  5. We are talking someone who washes their car under arc lamps, so a bit of snow sculpture in the daytime seems OK, but disappointed he did not build his very own sledge
  6. 350's/370's in the snow and ice can be compared to sending a race car on a rally stage - they don't mix
  7. Hope they have not been sitting there for nearly 3 years
  8. There is - the armco is bent over on the l/h side of the pic
  9. Yep - I'll go with that, and with the clear patches on the ground under the car someone has gone to an awful lot of trouble to make it appear real. Looking at the damage to the armco you wonder if it has slid along that to its resting place
  10. Just ring them and book bud Fundage is low atm, got roadtax this month and visitor to entertain next week, and I'm sure they'll either want a deposit or even the full payment, so no can do for now No money taken until you get there in May Thanks again Neil - that is right, no money is taken until you arrive (or if you don't and don't let them know in accordance with their T & Cs that you get with confirmation of a booking.) But what we are doing is monitoring the take-up so that if rooms get scarce so that if anyone does have to drop out then we can hopefully ensure late-comers get any rooms that become available. REMEMBER IF YOU DO NOT RESERVE A ROOM AT LEAST ONE MONTH BEFORE THE 22/23 MAY WEEKEND YOU WILL NOT GET THE DISCOUNTED GROUP BOOKING PRICES, EVEN IF ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE.
  11. Thanks for that clarification Neil - yes it is for individuals to make their own booking. We are getting the names from Moreton Park about who has booked but of course we need to pair those the forum username hence why we have asked everyone who has booked to add their surnames
  12. I think the discount is already in the prices, £60 or £70 incl breakfast is cheaper than their normal rates. Correct See this link for further info viewtopic.php?f=19&t=31252
  13. Global warming has a lot to answer for
  14. Take a look at the first pic on my following thread of my 370 in the showroom - just the way the light was doing things viewtopic.php?f=70&t=31076 Nice one Colin - thanks... Still can't make my mind up though! Have always done it on every car but want to avoid a zebra look (not saying yours does!) Know what you mean - someone said when they saw the pic it had a Stig look - I can live with that

  16. The grin is huge
  17. Don't forget your handbag
  18. Glorious pics - thanks for sharing then with us Is the Panda 4 x 4?
  19. Cheeky bugger it's these 350z's sex on wheels We could start checking who's not online and make bets on the outcome 9 months later
  20. Your very own Stig then Congratulations to you and mum
  21. Missed that post, but an excellent write up - just a shame Jaguar don't adopt the same professional standard given Chesterfields experience
  22. Yes they much better Stan, given the driver knows how to drive them. 3 things that make it better than a Zed even with performance tyres - skinnier tyres (std Evo tyres are 235, 4cm each side skinner than my rear tyres) so more pressure per tyre on the contact patch cutting through the snow, 4WD splitting the power 4 ways not 2 ways, so half as much to each wheel as ours. Finally as they are turbo'd they have sod all torque at low revs (no boost), meaning its very easy to apply little power - even at low revs in 2/3rd gear, my Zed was spinning my wheels when stuck. To prove the point, my Zed couldnt get up the drive which has a very slight incline. Ben's Evo pulled my Zed up the incline with his car starting on the incline itself! Way way more grip than the Zed has. Saying that, driven properly, the Zed is no worse than most of the muppets in FWD cars I was fully with you Chris up to your "no worse" comment in the last sentence. There is no way a RWD is as good in ice and snow as FWD (or rear/mid-engined cars for that matter) and even a novice driver in a FWD is likely to get an icey uphill road better than an experienced one in a RWD. Yes, there are too many muppets out there who don't how to drive in these conditions - period. In slippery conditions any car with the engine over the driven wheels (aside from 4 x 4) will be a safer and better bet for getting anywhere. You only have to look at classic and production car trials to verify the difference. Nope, June's Jazz is working overtime at the moment while the ZED is sitting there piled up with snow.
  23. Its not a ZED anyway
