I trust the garage have re-used the shims (or put new ones in) and copper greased the back of the pads and shims. More often the absence of one or both is responsible for squealing.

Never nice to hear this stuff although given the perilous state of the Euro and with Italy supposedely on the brink you know the where the politicians are coming from That said, what pees me off is the retrospective road tax charging at the same level. If were scaled down to reflect the already lost car value then fair enough but for say a 5-year old car to be hit the same as a new one sitting on the showroom floor is wholly unreasonable, IMO.

Come before this advice - wimp

+1 We are sadly seeing a few buying on a shoestring and having to let them go all too soon. Its not going to be a cheap car to run and maintain, and thats before you get into modding. Just make sure your pockets are going to be deep enough so you can really enjoy what the ZED has to offer, for more than 5 minutes.

WALES 2012 DISCUSS + *OFFICIAL LIST on P1*
Ebized replied to Ebized's topic in National Events & Shows
Afraid it has to be a Z of one form or another - this year we have said 10 can be Z's other that 350's/370's but as we are expecting a 'full house' of ZEDs other models are not included. Sorry. -
I see Chris had 20mm spacers on with those wheels. What CS says ^^^ - I do trust the garage spotted that serves no useful purpose and needs removing. he will sort you out quick

Isn't that nice, still getting welcomes nearly 3 years after joining

Time will tell This whole issue with running a car on a lower grade fuel does humor me somewhat. In the filler cap & manual of every car it stats, to fill the car with premium 98ron fuel. Surely theres a good reason for this. If you want to drive around in a 3.5ltr V6 with a bit of performance then why tighten your pockets on £2-£3 by filling it up with the wrong fuel, it`s not as if it`s some eco bluemotion oil burner It`s like the whole tyre issue, some owners put the cheapest budget tyres on a car & expect it to drive on rails.... +1

+1 just interested I have found that the traction control will kick in between gear shifts 1st to 2nd when giving it some beans really killing the pick up. It makes no did fence to engine power but does mean that you get all the power all the time. Yep, mine seems to always cut in if i accelerate too hard in 2nd and on the shift between 2nd & 3rd if the tyres are cold. Its strange as you cant feel the tyres loosing grip, but i guess they must be if its cutting in. Once the tyres are warmed it seldom kicks in. Yes, if the tyres are not warmed up they will more easily break traction but if the traction has felt the need to kick in or with it off in straight line burst the wheels spin on the changes that will mean forward momentum is compromised. But hey, the reason why the majority of us enjoy RWD with some decent grunt and handling is to explore the limits when circumstances permit that safely
-
One of these maybe, particularly if it has the GT4 rims viewtopic.php?f=9&t=53658&hilit=irish

Makes no difference in a straight line, but with it turned on when on very twisty roads it can kill the traction out of corners and thus the speed as it cuts the power to the inside spinning wheel - can can feel like the car is is almost stalling. Turned off, its down to you in terms of the power you feed in to get the balance right with traction - too much and you are looking at where you just came from........ or worse. In which case, find an authorised venue to practice with lots of run-off space, to find both the car and your limits. We do not condone the antics you have shown us in that vid that appears to be on the public highway

The 350's do not have the synchro-rev so your feet will still the get exercise
-
tut tut But have to agree, that is not a bang I would want cue SpursMadDave

COLIN! I'd have expected better of a veteran of heel/toe - wash your mouth out - you should be doing it properly with your own heel/toe, not letting the car do it. Might as well have an auto How do people find the 370z floor mounted throttle for heel/toe, or does no one bother now they have syncro-rev? I found it a bit of a pain compared to the 350z and Nismo pedal which pushed me more towards the 7AT. Guilty as charged Remind me how to do heel and toe again
-
This is where the 370 comes into own, almost uniquely in the 'affordable' car market place as the synchro rev will perfectly match the revs jumping any number of gears, up or down the shifts. It further enhances the brilliant engine braking characteristics of the 350 that makes the 350/370 such a great drive. Yep, synchro-rev is the lazy mans heel and toe, but perfection every time and matched to a decent sounding exhaust - I love it

hey everyone could you please help me?

Done - hope it helps. BTW - nice and easy survey format -
5) Ebized knows nothing about the 370z Corrected again
-
Well, at least this thread has established, unless anyone says different, that the 1) The manual 'GT' 370 on 2010+ models supplied in the UK has hill start (of sorts ) 2) Other 370 models don't have hill start. 3) Even if you have hill start, you are best off being prepared to use the old method with the handbrake. 4) Ebized is very happy his 2009 model doesn't have it

Looking at your sig, are you selling it again already
-
Approved on the basis you add your price (as required) this evening Edit: Cheers Rhys

Noise is unlikely to go away, so....... back to the garage to get them to put the shims put back on with some copper grease
-
Here is my Stillen 26 months old - with 2 weeks dirt on it Tips are autosoled about once every two months and the rear box every.....well, when I'm feeling extra keen! Pipes are normal colour - they were the same on the 350 Nismo system I had that was 3 + years old when I sold it but just discolouration as opposed to "rust".

One of the hot Clios that fits the budget - afterall it is a Renault so you would get some brownie points at work as well as home

The driver in the next car to Rebecca's could have been re-routeing their sat-nav whilst stationary in the traffic but that would be OK. Horses for courses, common-sense - phrases that are fast disappearing with increasing rules and tick boxes that can never, ever, cover for every eventuality. As a professional (in another discipline) I despair that highly trained people are more an more restricted/shoulder looking/in fear of putting career at risk, if they do not go by the book. No doubt it was an easy 'pull' with traffic not moving but honestly a simple finger-wagging would have been appropriate for that situation and moved on - you would hope more usefully to help sort out the traffic chaos that was holding up dozens of people otherwise going nowhere. Quite different though if the traffic was moving and you would hope that at least a hands-free device would then be used. I don't buy into what an officer might have come across the day before - as a professional they should be dealing with each 'incident' on its own merits - for what we might know the policeman might have had the hump simply because he was being delayed getting off duty........ For goodness sake where is the sense of perspective when someone can be made to feel belittled for such a trifling misdemeanour ? +1
