  1. Oh , go on then you have pushed me into saying Happy Birthday as there is a drink in it Any more of those shots of yours going too Hope you have had a great day mate, despite the side on here letting you down, again
  2. That video is almost certainly when the engine is cold to get the low and high readings shown. With both my previous 350s when the engines were at full running temperature the guages would show @ idling just below the first segment mark (approx 20psi) and @ 70mph in 6th on the 60psi (second) mark. Only when you are really giving it the beans would the pressure move up to the third mark when at running temperature.
  3. Thats the ps - bhp at the fly is about 309. The dyno graphs are taken at the hubs - hence the lesser bhp readings, but as a rough guide I would say that is about 315 at the fly. According to Mark@Abbey, he says about 325 at the fly. That's good
  4. Pete - if they sold some then they could only be to people that specsavers can no longer help
  5. If i have to go over and pick it up i will drop by your place of work mate That would be the Zed Shed then
  6. Cheers Jim, I'll ask the owner what he thinks of Zeds lol! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if we all liked the same stuff life'd be dull. You need to hear them running to understand the beauty, especially the silver and blue one. LOUD doesn't even come close Jim Yea would be rather dull if we liked the same things Bet they do sound good though You took the words out out of my mouth in your first post Jim They might sound good but oh dear, if they are 'beauties' in the owner's eyes I would hate to see what's in his wardrobe But as usual, more great (if tiring) detailing Tim BTW You going to show us the evidence of the sharp tailpipes

  8. Turn the headlights on - they work automatically first time (with wipers on) then will work every so often dependent upon how many times you choose to use the screenwash. Suggest you stand clear at the time (if someone is operating the th screenwash for you) or stay in the car. Maybe bit of dirt got lodged last time you used them for the one to stay out. That's a bit of wishful thinking for you
  9. Black 350 with a hump, looking extremely shiney and with nice stance and going east along the road - whoever you are it looked very
  10. +1 on that -2 on that and before Beavis says otherwise, yeah I'm in an old man's body
  11. I've often had to make some car changes -the most recent having to pass up on my second Scooby Turbo for a Smart in order to help win a lucrative contract that required a high proportion of 'green' boxes to be ticked but very happy when I was able to move on and get my first ZED in 2005.
  12. Thread locked as item sold
  13. Come to learn these testing sessions are just that and teams are sand-bagging if they know they are onto a winner - I'm sure it will be the usual suspects up front but an "informer" (not wholly reliable as he lurks around here and no, it is not Daryl ) tells me RB have a little exhaust mod up their sleeves.
  14. Lol i know, but the 370exhaust is just so ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz.............. Will, you are man after my own heart - we both checked out the 370's before buying with test drives and whereas the OEM UK 350 exhaust makes a reasonable sound, with the 370 its a question as to whether the engine was running But as I had bit more time before I could collect my 370 I had the Stillen decorating the lounge floor (as there wan't the choice in December 2009 as there is now) I don't blame you for taking a bit more time to choose the right one for you
  15. Dave - you've earned that Legend status well and truly now
  16. I have this thread on subscribe - keen to see the latest F1 news, not pictures of car parks/unrelated vids......grrrr
  17. Sorry to hear it had to go but no point in hanging onto something that was not doing it for you. Enjoy your new wheels
  18. Looks like 'Bag a Bargain Bob' is making sure your wallet is never closed for long
  19. Good summary, for someone still new to the car
  20. Really pleased for you Will - guess Dad approved - did he get to drive it?
  21. I trust the garage have re-used the shims (or put new ones in) and copper greased the back of the pads and shims. More often the absence of one or both is responsible for squealing.
  22. Never nice to hear this stuff although given the perilous state of the Euro and with Italy supposedely on the brink you know the where the politicians are coming from That said, what pees me off is the retrospective road tax charging at the same level. If were scaled down to reflect the already lost car value then fair enough but for say a 5-year old car to be hit the same as a new one sitting on the showroom floor is wholly unreasonable, IMO.
  23. Come before this advice - wimp
  24. +1 We are sadly seeing a few buying on a shoestring and having to let them go all too soon. Its not going to be a cheap car to run and maintain, and thats before you get into modding. Just make sure your pockets are going to be deep enough so you can really enjoy what the ZED has to offer, for more than 5 minutes.
