  1. +1 - if it drives as you remember it and you have half a chance of getting shot of a Cat C, don't hang around. Yeah peeps will say don't let the heart rule the head but from you have said it seems a win win for you now you are in a better financial position.
  2. With respect, some of us have bought a car having been promised this feature by the salesman and the Nissan brochure. Very happy to be proved wrong but as the question has been raised several times before, and I know it is not on the 2009 models so it would be good to hear/see an authorative confirmation that the 370 does have the feature, if only on the 2010+ models. The fact the 2011 handbook does not seem to mention its inclusion and the States forum members don't seem to think it exists (and they get far more features than we do as standard) would make it helpful if it were confirmed one way or the other.
  3. Its not on the 2009 manual models. In fact I'll be really controversial and suggest that no 370 has hill start, having searched the US forums and the 2009 and 2011 handbooks with no indication it is a feature (and having established that the US reference to "ebrake" is in fact the handbrake ) I wonder if those who feel they have have experienced this (dealing with the VDC system on the car): The computer has a built-in diagnostic feature that tests the system each time you start the engine and move the vehicle forward or in reverse at a slow speed. When the self-test occurs, you may hear a “clunk†noise and/or feel a pulsation in the brake pedal. This is normal and is not an indication of a malfunction.(page 5.28) BTW, I had hill start on the Brabus Smart I had before I got my first 350 and those are all 'auto', so the idea it only applies to manuals seems off the mark anyway
  4. Its there every day - usually on the first floor of the Ashley Centre car park at the end of the isle opposite the 'down ramp' And I was in WHS in that Centre at that time buying this months copy of Total Nissan oh, page 73 BTW
  5. Could be that you have some extra dust build up from the bedding in - try clearing out with air pressure or even a strong hosing. But as Col says ^^^ his advice could be your answer
  6. Never read such a load of utter crap (aside from those who I recognize as members on here who make very valid points) from a host of posters who clearly have never driven a ZED or probably ridden in one. 5 minutes of my life wasted And when I saw comments worrying about a bit extra cost for tax and mpg - well if that matters a ZED is not the right car even though they can be picked up for relatively small change these days. And comparing against porkers - hmmmm.... we have just had someone join up who found his ageing 911 was hitting him with £1k bills all too regularly and you are very unlucky to find that with the price of Datsun parts

    Front tyres on 19s

Better get the string out that they use in your day job to check the tracking etc More seriously, to my eye, given you are on standard height suspension, that wear looks either like excessive camber and/or toe-in.

+1 From your pic that level of wear is excessive IMO, and experience when I had 19" Nismo's on my 350.
  9. At least the 350 there was keeping its temper and looking very (sorry about that )
  10. Murphy, a furniture dealer from Dublin, decided to expand the line of furniture in his store, so he decided to go to Paris to see what he could find. After arriving in Paris , he visited with some manufacturers and selected a line that he thought would sell well back home. To celebrate the new acquisition, he decided to visit a small bistro and have a glass of wine. As he sat enjoying his wine, he noticed that the small place was quite crowded, and that the other chair at his table was the only vacant seat in the house. Before long, a very beautiful young Parisian girl came to his table, asked him something in French (which Murphy could not understand), so he motioned to the vacant chair and invited her to sit down. He tried to speak to her in English, but she did not speak his language. After a couple of minutes of trying to communicate with her, he took a napkin and drew a picture of a wine glass and showed it to her. She nodded, so he ordered a glass of wine for her. After sitting together at the table for a while, he took another napkin, and drew a picture of a plate with food on it, and she nodded. They left the bistro and found a quiet cafe that featured a small group playing romantic music. They ordered dinner, after which he took another napkin and drew a picture of a couple dancing. She nodded, and they got up to dance. They danced until the cafe closed and the band was packing up. Back at their table, the young lady took a napkin and drew a picture of a four-poster bed. To this day, Murphy has no idea how she figured out he was in the furniture business.
