  1. That Alpine does look drop dead......
  2. I just double checked your username
  3. Enjoyed those over lunch Puts Ken Block to shame The last vid of the 3 is clever as it has several that run on afterwards making the whole presentation/skill level pretty awesome
  4. Yep will be there from the Thursday to the following Tuesday as a long stopover on our way to Oz to see my Dad Once in a lifetime thing so splashed out for front row seats in block A6 Collecting the tickets at the circuit when we arrive and staying at the Marina Mandarin that is within the circuit. Ned to get some ear plugs now to avoid the - any recommendations?
  5. Scottish rules are slightly different to those in England, where the current legislation controlling 'householder' extensiions etc came into force on 1st October 2008 http://www.scotland.gov.uk/News/Release ... e-06022012 From what you have described it is certainly highly unlikely you need planning permission for the work you have described. That assumes your property is not not subject of an Article 4 Direction (check with your local council planning department), which has the effect of removing normal permitted development rights. This link gives a quick visual understanding for anyone wanting to carry out work to their home in England and Wales: http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/permission/house
  6. As I mentioned on th first page, it might be handy to have this evidence: in case the dealer plays silly buggers and given that shows it is a known issue that Nissan have fixed. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=57809 Maybe print a copy to take with you
  7. Thread locked as item sold
  8. Thread locked as sale has been completed - new thread please if anyone wants to continue the vid appreciation
  9. On a few occaisons since I've had the 370 I have had: "cor mate, is that a GTR?" or "nice GTR" with the thumbs up...... ....I wish Usually from -12 year olds though
  10. That's their own fault for not reading the wording properly IMHO. Who in all honesty, who does read it and can honestly say they fully understand the ins and outs? Much of it is mumbo jumbo and unless you have a legal background you will be none the wiser quite often. In my line of work, interpreting the small print can be a minefield, often needing Counsel opinion and even then they are certainly known not to commit themselves and conclude it will be down to the Court's interpretation
  11. We have yet to see pics of your car so I have got to say to really help you
  12. If the car is not under Nissan warranty and you are best advised to go to a good independent. Horsham Developments are one of the recommended independents on here and might be the closest to you and not too far south from you down the A34 - read their reviews: viewtopic.php?f=161&t=49120 Welcome along, BTW
  13. Thats very odd. The bonnet lifters havent fired, so front end damage must be very light as I've heard if you even breath on the sensors wrong they will pop the bonnet. That or the scallies that are selling it have removed them so that it doesnt pop up. And with no air bags deployed it looks from the pics as though possiblly the n/s rear corner took the 'hit' (not a big one) and maybe the car then spun in the process catching the front end without a frontal hit? Hence why the bonnet (and bags) did not 'pop'. Mind you from this view the rear wheel angle looks suspect:
  14. Mine will be 3 years old next January (probabaly the first in the UK) and I had absolutely no adverse issues with it in the 18k miles the car has covered. It went staright on with no problems and has been faultless. I was with will370z when he had his fitted and it was clear it is was a different manufacture (specification?) to mine and certainly the welds not allowing the flanges to sit flush was disappointing to see as Will has said above ^^^. The angle of the exhaust with the Berks was the reason for the zorst hitting the cross-member - something I am aware has not proved a problem for others to the extent Will had to give up on the Berks. Both Will's car and mine were checked side by side at the time on ramps to verify differences - see here: viewtopic.php?f=102&t=60888 The premature 'rusting' (usually surface only on the pipework) appears indicative of different materials being used. Sadly, I would say the quality control at Stillen is not what it was in 2009 and I would certainly think twice about another Stillen in the event I needed another s/s exhaust
  15. Welcome to the forum - but your intro split from another newbies thread Put your pics on photobucket (or similar) and then copy the img code there and paste it in a new post on your thread here or can be added to the one above if you click on the edit button
  16. If you are worried, I eventually dug out what they do over the pond - but obviously it affects the cars' security and maybe the insurance. WARNING: The google link to the forum (370.com) at the bottom of that attachment currently has a bug, so go in through the forum's front door if you want to check that out 370 steering lock failure safeguard.pdf
  17. Really sorry to hear about what happened to your car Hassan, but sounds like a reasonable outcome in the end as you had in mind selling. But I've locked the thread as you really need to get a for-sale ad up for the bits with pics etc (see the for sale rules), otherwise others not reading this thread may well feel understandably disgruntled about missing out, apart from which you are limiting potential buyers.
  18. Noticed this mentions tyre pressure monitoring system, could someone confirm if that's correct, I can't see it in the manual. Yep, I have a tyre pressure guage in the cubby More seriously there might be on the base model (with 18" wheels) but not on my 2009 with the GT pack that has 19" wheels as far as I am aware - certainly didn't kick in when I had a puncture. Might be something to do with the fact the base model comes with an ali spare wheel whereas with 19" you just get the tyre repair kit
