  1. Think that is what he was saying - car no problems, Martin...........maybe I can only get away with that as I'm his elder
  2. sorry spoony but your 3 years to late Deleted that spamming nonsence and yes, we all can see what Spoony's posts are building up to
  3. I only purchased the goods from him, we're a few hundred miles apart unfortunately! Car sounded fine this morning but didnt get a chance to have a good listen due to a pretty heavy rain shower. I must admit that when I switched the engine off when I arrived home, it almost sounded like my exhaust had a slight blow. I'll need to look into this further. Thanks for the help so far guys. My mistake reading your first post, but in which case go back to who fitted the Zorst as your post seemed to be wondering if the recent fitment might be a cause....... and given what you have just said.
  4. Have a good one Dips
  5. I believe the perpex and reflector are a bonded unit - so if the reflector is moving on its own th bonding has come undone Best I could find to show the assembly and the fact it is ordered as one replacement part - items 3 & 4. http://nissan4u.com/...illustration_1/
  6. Perspex can look pretty IMO - one I spotted at Lydden recently
  7. Wouldn't let Bob out in it alone - he might get the wrong attention
  8. Spot on Chris
  9. Apologies wizard, I meant the suggestion for the OP who might know who you meant by "Alex".
  10. If you mean ZMANALEX then I suggest you pm him
  11. I would get it back to Mitz to have a look.
  12. Seeing that pic Chris of your car - to those in the know out there, would I be right in thinking that if you photographed the engine bay that could be transferred to a wrap that, suitably enlarged, could then be added onto the bonnet?
  13. I've had the uprated springs done under warranty and while it made thngs better, now we are back in colder weather it still sticks, so I will be doing the counter-weight removal (recent guide posred up) to cure it once and for all. Quite sure that with the both the 350 and 370 Nissan failed to pre-test this problem in cold climates and the better fix would be a lighter counter-weight for colder climates. Oh, and back on thread - I found the rear wiper on both the 350 and 370 too useful to discard.
  14. I suggest a meet at your place for tea and cake
  15. +1
  16. Yeah better say Happy New Year everyone now, in case I'm totally later and have to be to bed.....
  17. Zeds as well
  18. Looks like he could be a useful member to have along then to sort you out
  19. You would have noticed the dash light on (when in the car ) if a door or the boot was not shutting - I guess? But I wonder if the fob battery is low and the signal is not doing its full job when you say the alarm goes off when you "un-lock and lock the car" ? (I have no idea about alarm electronics BTW, but from your description........... )
  20. Thread tided - go and play on your own thread not one that is pinned please

  23. Think I would take down a bit more of that ceiling and with the help of someone on the roof with a hose try to pinpoint where the water is first appearing on the underside and take it from there
