The 370Z effect has started. Nissan's finance people have slashed the contract hire rates on the 350Z coupe. £259 + vat per month. That's considerably less than I've been paying. The ad says 12+35 but as its an 18 months deal that's obviously bollox. I suspect its 6+17 like mine. Might be worth a punt for someone paying through the business... Mine goes back next Wednesday.

Great leasing deals on R32s at the moment. May be tempted myself. Might just be subtle enough to leave outside the house at night...

For safety's sake I would go ahead and replace the rims now. The council's actions suggest they will pay out on this one but you have nothing in writing so assume there is a chance they won't. Keep a note of any conversations you have with them (name, time, date etc.).

Doesn't look lowered to me You may be right but as the pic's taken from above I'd say its difficult to tell. Its certainly not slammed but the front looks a little lower than mine used to.

I think you'll find the Falkens have come on a lot in the last few years, in particular the FK452 is a very good tyre. If money was no object it wouldn't be my first choice but a fine alternative if pennies are tight.

And I didn't see that one coming!
