  1. Very cool but Colin's right. Locked.
  2. I have to disagree, Stan. Mini is a fine handling, quality engineered car. 500 is a Panda in drag and but apparently doesn't drive as well.
  3. Funny you should say that because I had the opposite experience. DT buggered mine up and I've never got round to having it sorted.
  4. Agree 100%. Much preferred it when I drove mine everyday.
  5. Lets stick to the one thread for this.
  6. Congratulations. Great news on the job! But the Fiat??? Good God man, don't do it. The 500 is all style over substance. It doesn't handle and it won't hold together. All its got is cutesy looks which appeal to girls and gay men. There are tons of small, frugal motors which are also good cars too - go for one them instead.
  7. Disappointed is the best way I can sum up my reaction. It looks fussy and the heavy handed retro features like the windowline seem to sit uneasily with the modern bit like the lights. Its lost the elegance and purity of the 350Z and that's a shame. It looks like its been designed to appeal to the American muscle car fan to me. The interior looks fine but nothing special. On the other hand these are three pictures and I'll reserve final judgment until I've seen some different colours, angles and preferably seen one in the flesh. Would I pre-order one now? I think not.
  8. Because the G's image has been forever tarnished by you having one...
  9. Thread split now that we have official pics.
  10. You are of course very welome, mate! Sounds like you may be more obsessed by the Zed than many of the owners...
  11. 2700 miles since Jan this year on mine, about 500 of those since June. At £320 a month plus insurance I've decided to let it go. The lease runs out at the end of June 09 anyway so I'd be unlikely to get much summer driving done before it went. Looks like I've got one trip up to N. Yorks in a couple of weeks time and then its bye bye...
  12. Subject to getting a decent job done they look great - on the right colour Zed, of course.

    Dotz Hanzo's

I think they go fine with the GM but they're not really equivalent to 18" on those photoshops, are they?
  14. In my experience when an economy starts to recover and demand increases, prices for desirable used vehicles will also start to rise. I'm not suggesting that they will go back to what they were, but they will increase to some extent. Regrettably, the Zed is not such a desirable used vehicle or prices would not have collapsed to the extent they have, even with the tax/fuel issue. IMHO the best that can be hoped for is that prices settle and hold for a while. I'll be delighted but gob-smacked if they rise at all.
  15. Great to hear good news for a change. Sounds like everything's coming good for you at once!
  16. Even my wallet's twitching here and I'm not much of a Veilside fan...
  17. Fantastic track to drive. I'd be there but the Zed will be gone by then and it isn't the same in a CRV...
