What size tyres do you recommend on this set up, Phil?

*cough* OK, I think I wrongly assumed that the rays were the same size wheel, but just had different tyres on RAYS are 8j front and 8.5j rear Standard non-Rays were 8j all round but ran the same tyres as the Rays. If you run a stagger you stand less chance of messing up the TCS if you have it. I see no reason why 245 or 255 fronts and 275 rears wouldn't work with a 9.5j all round.

I fancy a white roadster with custom tan (not orange) or deep red leather seats next time. Black or anthracite rims. My current TG wasn't really my choice but I have been pleasantly surprised by it and prefer it to GM.

+1 i'm surprised they got your address. Surley dvla didn't give it to them. I wouldn't pay that. The DVLA do give it to them for a fee of £2.50 a number.

I'd love a lime green one Its a £5k option from the factory Will be boring old yellow for me if I have one. Strangely I'm not keen on the yellow, I think its because the majority of the early cars were black and yellow. A lot of those for prospectors cars. Whether Simon was misled by Geoff when he bought it I don't know but as you can see above Geoff told others that he paid £450 for it when it was new 3 years ago. The only reason this rang a bell was that Geoff posted up this price on the old forum at the time and as I was only working a stone's throw away at the time I was going to meet him when they installed it. I was very interested in it because it was £450. Had it been £1k I wouldn't have even considered it. Now, if I honestly believed that this exhaust was £1k new and Simon wanted to sell it thirdhand, three years on I would have thought to myself that it was on the pricey side but not said anything. I agree that the fact that he bought it for a knockdown price shouldn't mean he can't advertise for more. What got my goat is that someone unsuspecting could end up paying £500 for an exhaust that cost £450 new 3 years ago. What Simon sells it for is his business but prospective buyers should know what it cost so that they can make an informed decision. Provided the thread isn't edited they will do and that is the end of it.
