    Bargain Europa

Agree with that Digsy, except the practicality of these IMO is a lot more than the Elise! Look how much deeper the doors are on these, getting in and out is a doddle compared. Agree the Elise is gorgeous, so, fancy a S1?? No money! Will you lease it to me?
  3. It gets put away for winter FFS!

    Bargain Europa

Its a shape that pics don't do justice to. Looks great on the road in dark colours. Still not sure about the bit where the side windows meet the roof though - looks a bit kit car. What puts me off is that its barely more practical as a day to day proposition than an Elise and they're gorgeous.

    Right interval?

9k or 12 months whichever is sooner IIRC.
  6. Yup! Look here for pics.... http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11220&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30 Can't wait to get mine next to a GM because I keep seeing people say its a lighter colour but I don't see it. In pics GM looks nicer, in the flesh I think I prefer TG.

    GT-R

Nice! Looks sweet in that colour. I'd be wanting a helmet though...
  8. I get in, drive, stop, turn off, simple. Never broken a car yet.
  9. Got to be worth getting it done IMHO.
  10. Just watch she doesn't pay for something she can get here for free. Its your parental duty!

    Anthracite Alloys

+1 See this from BMW forum , my mate Steve did his wheels & finish is perfect, though darker than envisaged due to excessive lighting inside paintshop when deciding colour. Though to be fair BMW did the job so should be good http://forum.bmwcarmagazine.com/viewtopic.php?t=44039&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=100 http://forum.bmwcarmagazine.com/viewtopic.php?t=44039&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=140&sid=4b6501e9aba4c72e48c40696a1d5634a I absolutely love them - colour and style!

    Anthracite Alloys

OK, now that I've got a TG Zed I've decided I need anthracite rims. I'm thinking the Renaultsport colour. Now I have a number of choices. I could change the colour of my Enkei's, which I never got round to repairing after I kerbed the front. I could get them painted at a very reasonable price by the guys who did Liam's Z's Volks refurb. My concern is that Liam said there was some flaking to the paint at the back as if they had given the back less coats and my concern is the quality of the job. Alternatively, I could take them over to Diamond wheels in Stockport who will powder coat them for £100 more. Powder coating should be more durable but there is always this rumour going round about it weakening some alloy wheels - however, like many of these stories I'm yet to find anyone who has actually had a problem but know plenty who haven't. Finally, I could sell the wheels and get some anthracite ones but that's a whole lot more messing and I could only spend what I got back on mine. Votes and comments welcome.
  15. PM Ming - his mate powdercoated some OEM wheels in an anthracite colour for an ex-member.
  16. Got mine today. Looks great (if a little bent...) and I think my car may have made the front cover! Martin, you are a star!

  18. Ah, Sally's dad? Get her to introduce herself - her new Zed warrants a thread of its own!
  19. To Mark, what would the £100k watch be worth after, say, 2 years?
