    Hmmm. Never had that problem.

    What are they?

I'd say you're bang on the money, Louis. See i can be useful at times You can relax now - you've had your annual "useful" post.
  3. jeeeze................. sorry i asked............. It was a very good question - Stuey was not asking for their home address. If locations similar to what Stuey and I have done were given then when owners shout help for best local service etc and we see they are local we can perhaps point them in the right direction but when you have no idea where they are from then they are likely to get less response That's their call though - same as if a seller chooses to post without pics, we don't force him to.

  5. The only thing I know about the Dropkick Murphy's is that they did the track that plays most of the way through The Departed movie. Nice!

  7. The one I like (and I had) was a BMW Mini pre 06 (05 to be precise). They've completely f@cked up the proportions and detailing on the latest one. The ride is way harsher than the Zed on the 17" rims but they do look cool. Bouncy is the word! Good luck with it - I doubt you can go too far wrong.
  8. This could be the answer... http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/index.p ... ntry484617
  9. Is it the latest gen Mini you're after or the last gen? Just think the new one looks all wrong inside and out.
  10. Needed to go back to copy the link. Any pics of the scuffs at all bud? As stated above "I don't have a specific kerbing photo"

  12. The rims are Enkei RP03 19x9 + 18 front and 19x10 +22 rear. They were bought from Envy in Feb 07 for £1750. The tyres are Falken F452's in 245/35 front and 275/35 rear. They have done about 6500 miles which with my "granny driving" is nothing (the 'stones lasted me 28,000!). Tyres cost me £600, again in Feb 07. The front nearside rim has been kerbed. I don't have a specific kerbing photo as the wheels are at my brother's for storage but the attached photos were taken in the first week of December just before I took them off. I can provide better quality copies by e-mail if requested which can be zoomed in to see the damage. At worst its a £40-50 refurb but may be less. 2 other rims have tiny nicks in them which I'm told by my local alloys place would be £20 each for a cosmetic repair. I've also been quoted £140 to refurb and repaint all 4 in anthracite or £240 to powdercoat the same colour. I'm looking for £1200 + delivery ONO. If anyone offers full asking I'll throw in a brand new unused set of black spline-drive lug nuts supplied by Adam @ Z1. Pics here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  13. Your motor should have had one in it.MY06 onward came with bluetooth fitted as standard. He's right Lexx - you should have this already.
  14. Welcome! The only uk car I've seen for that sort of price has over 100k miles on it.

Have you never heard Jeremy talk about Mercedes "quality"? You need to get on those re-runs, mate!

Shows again that image is more important than real-life statistics for some people. Do a bit of research on reliability statistics http://www.reliabilityindex.co.uk/tophu ... 9010848601 Its worrying me that we keep agreeing, mate! This is spot on. The Germans are great at perceived quality (i.e. nice squishy plastics and high quality leather) and living on a reputation but when it comes to real world reliability, Japan is leagues ahead.
  17. Belated Happy Birthday to you, mate!
  18. Can we post on the original thread please.
  19. Aren't we being a little unfair - this has been built to race not pose. I've heard elsewhere that this is a Manthey car and for those that didn't read about them in Evo the other month they are uber-serious Porsche tuners worshipped by the Porsche 'Ring experts.
