  1. I decided its better and cheaper flying to Geneva for their show.
  2. Stuey, I'm so sorry to hear this. Please accept my condolences to you and your family.
  3. Ah, very nice indeed! Is that Blade or Universal Silver? Looks like the latter but could be the light.
  4. Could name a few who may not agree bud. To name a few Bah! You can't go to Lakes and expect good weather!
  5. That's looking nice Martin. As for Paul's - wow, the interior and bonnet look very smart! Not going to everyone's taste but hats off to a totally individual vision of a Zed.
  6. Z-day is here! Enjoy it, mate!

    Ruined alloys

I think this would rule out virtually 90% of aftermarket rims for UK use Wouldn't argue with that. Its a shocking state of affairs.

    Ruined alloys

I thinks that's the point here. If you've bought them in the UK to put on a car in the UK then, if you haven't been warned, they aren't fit for purpose.
  9. Hi Damian, We didn't sell wheels to Sarnie, he's just upset because he now has a Lambo The LE37s we sent you first time round were higher offsets than you wanted (obviously we didn't know this until you received them) they still would have fitted though! We did change them for another set for you, no hassle... Its quite acceptable by Japanese standards (as they are more conservative than the US market) to have anything from a +17 to +35 on a Zed though, just most people *prefer* the look of a +22. Unfortunately its not available for all designs though. Regards, Gaz. Lets not play all naive here, Gaz. As you are in your own words "experts on wheel fitments and offsets and advise many UK traders on this" I would have (perhaps stupidly) expected that you wouldn't try and peddle me wheels that would look rubbish on a Zed because of their offsets - a simple search of this forum, the OC or any of American sites confirms that consensus. Reliance upon your "expertise" didn't work for me, did it? I then had to take photos of the wheel boxes as you clearly didn't trust me to advise you of the offsets of the wheels that you yourselves supplied. I had to return them to my office 30 miles away in a Micra and then they weren't picked upon on the day agreed by your courier. You sold me some Enkei's in replacement which came with 3 rather than 4 valves and a set of spigot rings in the wrong size. This I found out after I had driven the 40 miles odd to Demon Tweeks in Wrexham to get them fitted. Thankfully DT were able to cobble something together to get me on the road. You sent me a second set and I returned to DT only to find they still didn't fit - another wasted trip. You can imagine my complete disbelief when set number 3 didn't fit either... I eventually got rings that fit from Adam @ Z1 (thank you Adam ) and ended up paying for a complete set of steel valves from Demon Tweeks - there was no offer from Envy to meet this cost. I'm afraid "no hassle" doesn't really describe the experience for me. I have refrained from posting this sorry tale to date but the suggestion that you are "insulted" by Sarnie's comments forced my hand. BTW Sarnie didn't buy the wheels because I advised him of what were suitable sizes and offsets for a Zed, something I would have expected you to do.
  10. Every time it drops to 3 degrees or under mine switches to temp and displays the ICY warning, possibly several times a journey. If the orange light comes on for fuel it switches to DTE. A tap on the top button returns it to the original view.
  11. I'm sure that if an orange Zed with a big wing turns up in the car park with a reg on and then an orange Zed with a big wing and no plates laps the track, photos of both would be sufficient.

    Rear dent

Definitely worth trying one of these paintless dent repair guys first to see if they can sort it. Far cheaper than a bodyshop and for small dents the result can be perfect.
  13. I've got both and definitely sensible.
  14. I beg your pardon? Me and Kevin have been selling wheels exclusively for Japanese cars for 5 years. We are experts on wheel fitments and offsets and advise many UK traders on this. To say we don't know what does and doesn't fit is an insult. Sorry for the interruption Phil. Regards, Gaz. You did sell me wheels with the wrong offsets too...
  15. Does it??? Wonderful what you can do with some black tape these days Or just do what rickya did Wouldn't the sensible spotter watch the cars as they come in from the road and then see who makes it on to the track? Or did the plates come off before you arrive at the circuit?
  16. Welcome aboard! Nice Zed but not sure on the SniperZ sticker....
  17. Never seen one like that before. Looks like its out of the Ark! Look at the traders feedback too.
  18. Ambitious marketing - they cost as much as their German equivalents but are slower. Not how Jag used to sell themselves...
  19. they do require a lot of respect mate, 15 riders have died in the last 12 months in n wales alone I have had a full licence since 82, but one night i decided to cut my bike into a two part flaming wreck I have not owned a bike now since 86. Blimey! Tell us more... Basically i was travelling along a main road and indicated to turn right off it at a T-junction, only to be side swiped by another motorcyclist travelling in the same direction overtaking everything behind me. As i turned right he cut straight through me, luckily i just walked away (i don't know how), he was in a coma for 3 weeks. The police reckoned he was doing in excess of 80 mph. That's the problem I have with bikes. There are plenty of safe riders and a hardcore of complete arseholes.
  20. Like your re-bodied Lincoln, eh Tim?
