  1. Check the offsets. The Axis are quoted as 35mm/40mm. These will look like a train, i.e. tucked too far in. For a 8.5.9.5 you need something like a +22. That's the offset Volks recommended.
  2. Have you sorted the Itineary yet Val. Even a rough day by day. I would be interested in joing you for a few days, especially if you are going to Spa and Nurburgring. Can't afford the time off to do the whole thing.
  3. Details for the Nurburgring 24hr Race 7-10th June are here. http://adac.24h-rennen.de/
  4. Sarnie - I'm jealous mate. Rob - How about one of these? http://www.handirackuk.com/what.asp
  5. Tim - it's a doddle. Just install Replay Music, run it first, then click on the Radio Link you are interested in. Then press record in Replay Music. This will creat a directory and put an MP3 in that directory. Then simply write to CD. Easy. Then you can avoid that idiot Moyles and all the crap middle of the road they play, and listen to real music....ROCK... Oh well , if you say so Kev , I'll give it a whirl Call Kev's IT support if you get stuck..... My rates are quite competitive.

  7. I think I played CD-RW's. Try it and some CD players can be a bit sensitive to certain RW's. If not the are so cheap now if you buy in bulk
  8. now that is a cheap option You can also use a rewritable CD and reuse it. Replay Music is here http://www.applian.com/replay-music/ind ... EPLAYMUSIC Just seen it's gone up and now $40
  9. Here's cheaper option. Use something like Replay Music, which is $25 I think I paid, or find a shareware equivalent and record to hard disk, then burn a CD. This mean you can record in the evening, (Dallas is 5 hours behind) and listen the next day in your car. I also copy to my MP3 player.

    or these......

These are Axis Hiro's badged as Drift. Not a bad budget wheel and come in nice offsets to suit the Zed. If anyone is interested, check out the offset first. Also, there was a bad batch of these where the spokes cracked. This has supposedly been fixed now. Check out my350z.com for more details.

    Fisker Latigo

Expensive kit car. It will set you back $200k and that's in the US so will cost even more over here..
  12. Found a great website for finding Web Radio. http://www.live-radio.net/info.shtml If you like Alternative Rock like me, try KDGE in Fort Worth, Dallas, Texas

The crease is standard 6 series. The changes are the wings boot and bonnet, everything else external is the same. What is a same is the fact they've lost the vents in the front wings aka Aston.
  14. Jim, Dead easy to fit. The fronts already have the holes and the rears come with a template to drill 2 holes. When you do the rears make sure the are level when viewing from the bottom. TBH you don't need the template if you place them with double sided tape first then stand back and make sure they are OK. My dealer put one on wonky, and that was using the template. Mind up drilling 2 small holes and plastic was a bit much to expect from a Dealer.

As it wouldn't then have the corporate styling - Kidny grille and 7 series fat ass... It's nice, and I even like the rear but this looks too much like an Alfa 166. The front looks too much like an Aston. Then there's the price tag...
  16. Look carefully and you will see under the skin this is a 6 series. It's based on an M6. Fisker used to work with BMW - he designed the Z8. More impressively, he also worked on the Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage. Fisker is top drawer - he's just set up his own custom coachbuilding studio. Top drawer means top price, and on top of the £85k M6 list price too.
  17. They used to be only available unpainted in the UK, allowing your freindly stealer to then rip you off for the painting. Buy them from the US. These are pre-painted by Nissan so good match and sooo much cheaper. I bought my front and rears from Ultimate Z in the US. The yellow is a pain to match anyway but these were spot on.
  18. REmind me of Citroen headlights like a C4
  19. Have you got a date yet. I see June was mentioned. If it's July we could spend a day at the FIA GT Spa 24 hours. See http://www.fiagt.com/calendar.php Here's the celendar for Spa http://www.spa-francorchamps.be/en05/ca ... ndrier.php Le Mans is the other of course 16/17th June
  20. If you guys will allow a non Zed to join in I'd be interested in Part 1 & 2? I've got European Sat Nav...
  21. Not necessarily. If you have a car with that kind of mileage it might not be easy to move. If I hadn't just fell back in love with my zed I'd be very tempted You have a tiff then?
  22. Not necessarily. If you have a car with that kind of mileage it might not be easy to move.
  23. I wouldn't buy a car that expensive of eBay from somebody with loads of feedback unless I viewed it first and HPI'd it. It is in the classified which is no different really than Autotrader. You don't get feedback there at all.
  24. Nice car if you aren't going to do too many miles per year and keep it a bit. The BMW warranty is 3 years and unlimited mileage anyway. With normal mileage this would be £60k+ in a main dealer.
