Difficult one. How about a C5 Exclusive V6 3 litre. I used to have a Xantia V6 Exclusive. All the toys, leather etc. I bought it to use as a work horse whilst working away and put about 80k miles on it in less than 3 years. I paid £3.5k for it when it was 4 years old and it was £21k new. The V6 Citroen Pug engine is a cracker BTW. 24v and 200+ bhp. It's the same engine more or less as that used by a lot of French manufacturers e.g. V6 Clio. Mine was auto too.

You're right Kev, they do put some silly underpowered engines in them. The 2.4 engine has 2 power outputs, a detuned version at 140bhp (in a car that big, idiots!) and an normal 170bhp one. Which is much much better. But it's no different to Golf SDI's or 1.4's, or BMW 520's. That's why these types of car end up being hire cars - no-one would buy them!! Try an S80 / XC90 T6 or an S60 D5. Sooo much better. Yeah the V70 XC had a D5 diesel and that was OK, but that 2.4 petrol. My daughters 1.6 Xsara was faster. It was a horrible car, and felt so old fashioned. The interior was cheap and old fashioned too. Reminded me of a Cortina...

Sorry to but in guys, but recently had 2 Volvo hire cars. One was a V70 Cross Country D5 which was OK and a V70 2.4 Petrol. The latter was the worse car I have driven in a long long time. It was immensely underpowered, did 29 mpg on a motorway run, and generally was falling apart, e.g. the centre alarm panel in the roof kept falling off. This was a 55 reg with about 8k miles. I've never particularly liked Volvo's but after this would never buy one. Hope I haven't offended any Volvo fans out there.

Nismo's are best, wider bigger, lighter etc. GT4 alloys might be cheaper though

Calm down mate. You don't know half the story. You are judging based on what you have read recently and probably jumping to the wrong conclusions. Either that or you are Pathfinder's brother... I've refrainned from posting anything for a long long time. This picking on certain people, and it's not just me BTW, started months ago, infact almost a year ago. I've spoken to committe members about him in the past and the last occasion when I was banned they assured me it wouldn't happen again and revoked the ban. This includes phone conversations. But it did happen again and it all got nasty, you've seen the PM's. As for others, I've had PM's and know of a few who have also had run ins with this guy but didn't speak up. As far as my PM's go, I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say anyone can post any of my PM's includinng ones recently to Pathfinder, whenever they like. It just aint me to slag someone off like that for no reason. You're now calling me, and are having a go at me which seems as though you are trying to start an argument. Let's not go there otherwise we are all as bad as them. Leave it, stand back mate I have.

Well I'm impressed with the good behaviour here. Well done guys. The point is Pathfinder has a position of responsibility. OK it's voluntary, but still a privileged position. Therefore he represents the OC in his actions. The fact that they have stood by and chosen to ignore this behaviour means by default they condone it. No matter what though, even if he wasn't a Moderator, there is no excuse for this kind of racist and argreesive behaviour. BTW, dont' forget this guys has in the past referred to all people who post here with the phrase....... I know it's already been said, but for gods sake we are all human, adults, we all love cars etc. Why single out individuals becuase they have a different badge on the bonnet or chose to post on different forums. It's pathetic and childish. All I can say is be aware of him and thank god most poepl who post are decent. This is of course an example of what must take place via PM's with Pathfinder all the time. He could be slagging any one of you off now.

Certainly the right thing to do. The honourable gentleman's thing to do would be for Pathfinder to resign for the benefit of the OC. But none of this is ever likely to happen let's be honest.

You need to be aware of this person on the OC forums. He posts in the name of Pathfinder on the OC where he is a Moderator. He has posted here on rare occasions in the name of P15 and P15pathfinder on the Zclub.net forums. The quote below is a PM that was sent by Pathfinder to Sarnie about a recent incident. This was basically him initially deleting my posts, even though no rules were broken, then towards Steve_b and myself as we stood up to him in another thread. Sarnie has given me permission to post this PM up. It clearly shows racist comments towards (TheMinel), Val, and some kind of vendetta towards myself and Steve_b. I would also suggest that he is creating an “us and themâ€

I hired a non-Gt Convertible. That's the new one of course and was surprised just how good it was. Especially when you consider the price new. The GT350 clone is very nice though.
