don't understand how the radio has lost its code, i've disconnected the battery before and never had to sort the codes out. maybe because i only disconnected for a short period i guess. glad you got it sorted.

tell you what that blue one is a pretty good model have a search for the brand name and you should be able to find one in silver

at the pivot point of the rear wiper arm the the cover that sits over it should slide back about 3-5 mm, which then allows the rear arm up for changinging cleaning etc. i know this as huskies does it, but mine doesn't as it seems to have seized on. have a try but if its not budging then leave it and go for plan B
