  1. good luck and just to say, i feel your pain
  2. i was lucky, my new school happens to be 4 miles away. my daily commute is 8 miles instead of 100 miles. it takes 10 minutes, i get a lie in, and i no longer mind staying late as i live round the corner i had several other interviews around the county, but it was luck that landed me this one. and it happens to be one of the top schools in the county and also in the UK
  3. i feel for you mate, i swapped jobs about 18 months ago to avoid crap like that. used to do 500 miles a week traveling from ipswich to chelmsford. about 50 miles each way. had several sessions where the trip took me up to 4 hours. the A12 is a muppet road where people like to crash as rush hour for fun. i even got rear ended in a car smash on the a12 where i stopped and 6 other cars decided to inspect the inside of my boot. that was the last straw for me.
  4. i have these on mine i'm sure rob could do them in green on a different background if you asked him nicely
  5. i used to go to roller world in colchester when i was younger. but i was a blader not a quad person. my skates spent most of their time on the ramps when i was at college. used to go to playstation in london and and a few other places as well. even got featured in unity magazine. not an article on me specifically but my picture was in it
  6. sorry guys can't make this got to much on, as i'm at ace cafe on saturday, i need to be at home on sunday to build the kitchen
  7. i'm interested viks as well just depends on cash flow etc should be ok, will ask permission from the boss
  8. lol i can't do that now either my family keg of a belly has disastrous effects on gravity and movement. i could nver do flips or anything really. my dancing got better with the more i drank, actually to be honest i don't think it ever got better i just cared less
  9. after some one recently posted that i might have a Doppelgänger on the forum i'm a little confused if its me or not. i'm guessing it is, so thanks everybody also please keep the pictures to yourself
  10. i'd use abbey or japex as both know the car. i'd trust them over a dealership service any time. better to travel a few extra miles and get it done properly than do it quickly and get a crap job. if i had a micra i'd take it to nissan, but most dealerships see so few Z's they don't know what to do with them. i had my independent do mine and i supplied my own consumables, all in my cost about £320 there is also DMS just off from dartford as well near brandshatch, and they also know the cars inside out.
  11. guys you have to remember those were all proffessional hard men, and highly trained kung fu masters. the producers of that film actually sabotaged the set to make them look bad. ..... not really, they are as likely to be a kung fu master as i am of being britians next top model
  12. i'm still running with mine in the window. long term plan is possibly to go for a vinyl one as it will stick flush to the bumper. not technically legal, but i think the police are less likely to notice than no plate at all
  13. huh? I've been a lifelong Z owner, and I've never seen a Z badge like the TK one on any Z past or present. The scripted badge is actually a range they do for a few cars Didnt want to say anything till an expert came along!! TK only used to put the front (not a z badge) and the rear on cars that they modified... It was only demand from the US that meant they started to sell them to the public! only reason i thought it was an old symbol was because of these http://z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseacti ... rentCat=27 i've seen other versions of oil caps and rad caps etc. and always referring to datsuns never nissans, so i thought it was for a variety of Zed cars 240Z up etc.

thats right isn't there a natural shortage of PS2's at the moment, and also falkens. Go for the sessanta's, they are in stock and they do the job.
  15. got it yesterday and love it. am already at level 14, got myself a zed on it and its great to drive on the track
  16. glad to help and yes i meant de badged
  17. Racist comment? Is that from the tarmacian people ... Will they get upset? no its the tarmacanese they are very sensitive people. hate getting confused with cheap arse irish pikey drive layers
  18. The bumper needs holes and all the rest and before I paint it I need to check that it fits propelly, so, is it a good idea to fit the bumper and than take the car to the body shop ( with the bumper on the car) or is it best to take it off again re-fit the the OEM, paint the Nismo etc...? my advice would be to fit first to test fitting then get bodyshop to paint it, then re fit. you have 2 choices, paint it on the car or paint it off the car. paint on the car and they should be able to blend it at the edges to match your current colour, downside is they will have your car for about a week to do it. if you need the car to get about then get them to paint it off the car. this is what i did as i needed my wheels to get to work etc. no blending etc but the colour match is pretty damn close and i'm happy with the finished result. What sort of rough price am I looking at to paint it? if its a straight forward job and the bumper needs no work other than a sand down and then painting then i would say a couple of £100's most likely. depends on your location and the body shop. i got quoted £600 for a full kit to be painted. cost a bit more as it needed extra stuff doing and i also had the cutouts done and all the fitting etc. my advice find a good shop and pay what they charge. don't just go for the cheapest as it doesn't always gaurentee the best work. if you can get one thats been recommended then even better. How long it takes? how longs a piece of string? technically i would say about 2-3 days fro prep paint laquer and curing. actual time depends on your shop and their schedule etc. anything that I should look out for before leaving the bodyshop? paint match and .......... Anything else not that i can think of. i personally think the bumper looks better with the badge recess flushed out, but thats costing a couple of extra quid to do, but nows the best time to do it.

mps2 are top notch, i've passengered in ekonas, and also played follow the leader with him to and they do grip well. would say the sessantas are also a good choice if the mps2's are that bit too pricey, these too will also out perform the falkens and the toyos
  20. i've bought a mix of original and non original parts, and bought from a variety of sellers on here, or members, i don't tend to go on names, but more what comes up cheapest second hand. i had the likwid art range made, yes it started from an original part, but long term plans was to use it and take it further offering parts that TK don't offer. and i recently found out the TK symbol (Z) isn't theirs originally, its an old datsun symbol before TK were around. as for manufactures they are all a bunch a copiers. i studied at Coventry Uni, where they have a very large rapid prototyping machine. large enough to get a car into it. and i know of several companies who use such a machine to reverse engineer the competitions vehicles. what about the F1 issues with ferrari drawings being handed to opposing teams. its just the circle of life
