  1. i'm back at work by then feb would be half term for me. might have to go seperatly
  2. 2006 pre facelift 276bhp version 350Z Invidia G200 True Dual Exhaust Kinetix High Flow Cat's Carbon plenum with built in 5/16 spacer Throttle Body Spacer K&N Typhoon CAI is that enough info, not sure what else to include. don't think i have any other mods fitted in the engine
  3. thats excellent news, cookie if we do this it will require us to leave by 6am to get their intime. and if we convoy down your going to need to leave by5.15 am to get to me first
  4. i vagely remember abbey offering a base map. it might be possible to send your ecu to them, they crack it and load the base map and send it back for you to refit. only downside is it won't be perfectly tuned to your car, so you might not make quite as much gains on it as a custom job.
  5. halifax have just doubled what they get from me by changing their interest rates. instead of charging interest on the amount, they now charge a flat rate of £1 a day regardless of the amount. so where i was paying £15 a month its now about £30 a month, i'm also with nationwide and they have been one of the best banks i have ever dealt with, and one of the few i haven't seen on the news for stupid tradfing issues and bankrupcy.
  6. redecorating is easy for them they treat it like anything else of ours, they just **** it up the wall
  7. i think i might but i'm not sure where. can check at the weekend, but please regulalry pm me to remind me as i have a brain like a sieve. need to go look in the garage. can;t until the weekend.
  8. don't you know the government have the decorators in. this is just another expensive whitewash at the tax payers expense.
  9. hoping to get close to what nurrish and fiddy have got from theirs, around the 300bhp mark and a nice increase in midrange torque. also doing it to make the AFR better now all the mods have been added as they apparently lean out the engine. and also the advantage of increade MPG which make it pay for itself within 12 months
  10. lol do it yourself, its dead easy, or if your worried get a mate to help you. if you were more local to me i would say bring it round and i'll help you. offers still open but its a bit of a drive to suffolk.
  11. by the time the remap comes i should have all work completed, got most things just waiting on the plenum. mods list is: Invidia True Dual exhaust Kinetix High Flow Cats K&N Typhoon induction kit Throttle body Spacer Carbonised Carbon Plenum with built in 5/16 spacer last 2 haven't been fitted yet. and i might change the filter cone to an apexi between now and then. don't think i've missed anything. was tempted by manifolds but its a lot of work and my car is still civilised and useable my worry is the manifolds would just bring to much noise.
  12. love those rules read them ages ago but couldn't find them a while back for another thread
  13. i don't think its secret information, you won't have to look to hard to find out his name. you can aslo apply to 5 and 6 like a normal job now, they don't do so much through the old boys network now or tapping of shoulders at the ivy league universities
  14. will be going to see abbey motorsport and get my standard ecu remapped. they been doing them recently with good results. just trying to get all the mods on first to make the most of it when i do it
  15. man that looks like great fun. what you been doing with it?
  16. check ebay regualrly they seem to pop up all the time on there.
  17. i'd personally avoid any cat c or cat d's they are harder to sell on after and aren't worth as much. might loose more on the out. i bought my 06 in 2008 for £15,000 with 13,000 miles on it. had it a year now and i reckon i'd probably get at least that and now it has 23,000 on the clock. if not more.
  18. HFC's haven't made a massive difference to noise on mine. its different and a bit louder, but it hasn't been mental. but the pickup is definatly better. i put them on for performance before a remap. will try and sort a vid soon for you.
  19. just get your insurers to deal with it. but if you can choose the garage to do the work might be worth speaking to CS and see if he can do it. that way they might give the option to not use OEM parts. some bodyshops on insurance jobs won't do aftermarket parts and will only do like for like. or are you doing this out side of the insurers?
  20. if you can get an envy original kit for the £1000 that they are currently offering its a good deal over half price on the usual. Riks kit is about £600 ish, but with the original it will just need spraying and will fit straight on. in this particular case what you'd save buying a replica you'd loose in extra time at the bodyshop making it a perfect. with the original it would literally be a paint and on job no tweeks needed. nothing wrong with riks kit, i have his side skirts and as a replica kit its not bad value for money. but it will never equal an original kit. either option will come to roughly the same price, so might as well go for the original
  21. never been on the train. always travelled a la ferry. glad your back safe, look forward to hearing about your trip. feel free to pop round some time.
