  1. yep i was thinking of tings like the jackson supercharger
  2. K&N Typhoon induction system
  3. the earlier 276bhp ones are more tuneable as in there are more after market parts available for them and can be remapped with mods to about 300bhp. and offer with the remap more torque and grunt. but if your not planning on modding the 313bhp 2007 onward offers the best out of the box power/torque. and the latest interior there isn't alot in them. if you lined all 3 versions up and did a straihgt line drag i think there would be very little between them. the GT4's are a nice model, and you have the extra exclusivity. but i'd go for the one in the best condition with the highest spec. try for a GT spec car if not a GT4 they hold their value better. other than that then pick the one in the colour you like most.
  4. seen the blue in the flesh and its not a complimentary colour on the zed, its verging on baby blue :yuk:
  5. i thought you were going the supercharger route? is this a single turbo conversion then?
  6. personally your first port of call should have been envy to see what they say before making a public statement. i'm sure they will sort things out with you. and then you can post the outcome.
  7. i think thats the point. if your new to the scene and cash was no object then possibly the 370 would be the choice. but if your a previous owner then it possible that it doesn't offer enough of an epgrade to make it worth it.
  8. Back it goes then imo........... your a perfectionist. maybe worth asking envy to contribute to the cost of repair, and they can then claim it back from the courier. personally i'd just repair, but not at my own expense. you'd never know the difference once painted and on. probably cost envy the same to fix it as it would to courier the old one back and send a new one out.
  9. nissan dartford are now on the good and bad list. does this make them a 50/50 gamble?

    Mirrors...

really sorry to hear that. fitment should be the same. double check with r35lee or zmanalex.
  12. is this an official kit or a copy. both are fibre glass, and as long as a decent repair is done it should be as good as new. its one advantage of FG repairs are easy and just as strong as original.
  13. should have gone to specsav....i mean abbey if i was buying a performance car now, i'd probably look more at a car that had been seen by a specialist than the actual manufactuers garage.
  14. i changed all my bulbs all round. put 6000k dipped in the front with new philips main beams. made a good difference. not massive. but its better.
  15. slightly off topic, but reading that says that modding the 350 makes the car run more lean. for me its not a major issue as i plan to get it remapped in the new year which would correct this and bring the AFR back into better territory. what i'm interested to know is, would running mods over a prolonged time without a remap and the car being lean cause damamge. or does the ECU keep the car within safe perameters?
  16. who have you been blackmailing to get that kind of service?
  17. it gives people the impression they sell lots of cars, and are a popular place to buy from, giving the impression that they are reliable to deal with and a good garage. its a sales technique only. you ring up about a car you like; you find its been sold; you ring abouut another; its been sold. you finally find one you like and panic that someone else will get it before you so hurridly put done a deposit to secure it without really looking in to deeply. as you think that everyone is buying from them so they must be good. tends to work on inexperienced buyers. hopefully the more experienced and cautious don't fall for it.
  18. ooh i love the z4m coupe
  19. wow, i'm not an impreza fan, but i love that car
  20. he's fine but all his mates call him clutch face now
  21. autotrader add is dead now, (no surprise) so couldn't see the original pics. be interested to see how this works out.
  22. i don't have a y pipe so cant help there, but the HFC's i have being fitted tomorrow are kinetixs. if money was no object and i was buying new, i'd possibly have gone for berks.
  23. tell you tomorrow when my HFC's go in. should take too long and depends on which garage you use and what they charge per hour.
  24. i'd love to do manifolds on mine, but its a big job and would definetly push your costs up. i've done mine bit by bit. did the exhaust now doing HFC's no one said you have to do it all at once.
