  1. so it only took them 20 years to copy OUR letter bmw z4 isnt as powerful or handles as well, i love the z4m coupe, but when test drove it wasnt as good as the zed
  2. you just don't say anything unless someone asks. or when they are there looking at the car expalin what you did. you got plenty of pics to prove it. but in the initial add i'd say nothing
  3. my new years eve just took a downer, i've been vomiting and "the other one" all over the bath room for the last 4 hours. i now feel like crap. have done nothing and just want to curl up and die. happy f'ing new year
  4. my wife saw the zed at JAE and loved it, told me it had to be my next car, now i'm here
  5. agree with what nurrish said, i think the turbo route requires a lot more work. i also think that the supercharger route is more in keeping with the zed, giving a more linear power delivery all the way through the rev range unlike a turbo which is only on the power once in boost. down side is less torque,
  6. think i need a picture, as this doesn't sound right.
  7. sounds like UK is waiting for tyre shipments to arrive, yeah not as cheap as camskills but they are the closest in price. others are even more i think, or don't even supply them. i think black circles did them, but mytyres don't. might be worth a try. other option is to wait till feb if you want them, how critical are your tyres at the moment; some tread; or no tread? i'm not on commission, wish i was just found something that works very well on the zed and doesn't cost a bomb. you should like them, not heard anyone get them and not like them so far.
  8. your better off with a trickle charger, and they are around the same money. it will turn its self on and off as and when the battery needs topping up. i used one on my old mr2 roadster, left overnight worked a dream. left for long periods was an absolute godsend.
  9. if the CEL has come on then go read the code, it will tell you whats up. this might help viewtopic.php?f=64&t=31017
  10. i'm still on holiday, just got up, about to go clean my car, then i'm off to play on my xbox. sorry lads.
  11. welcome to the mad house
  12. i wish i was more local otherwise i'd be round with the beer
  13. lol yes, i'm fairly certain its been on here already. i remember lots of talk about special needs and morons, and wtf etc etc. still a blinding read
  14. i'm really chuffed for you. you and stan are my pathfinders. your setting the way for me. me and lucy aren't their yet, but we'd like kids at some point, but i'm still at the "yes they are nice but; holey crap being a dad is a bit scary". so i'll see how you guys get on, and see if it helps put my nerves at rest.
  15. lol snagging shouldn't be an issue, only if you use to much pressure when drilling. you need hardly any and just leave the drill bit to do all the work with the cutting. and like you said work up through the drill bits.
  16. if your drilling into meta, also centre punch where you want to drill, means you get it spot on and no drill slipping
  17. or these guys were second best on price for the vredesteins http://www.tyremen.co.uk/
  18. camskills is your best bet for them
  19. reo50s are good.mixing front and back isn't bad to bad, but ideally you want same all round. if cost is an issue i highly reccomend the vredestein ultrac sessantas. they aren't the cheapest but come out about the same as the toyos. cost more than falkens but are outstanding tyres for grip.
  20. its lucky i don't teach electronics.... oh....wait... i do lol i'm one of those people that has to have the multimeter in hand. i know what i'm looking for, but sometimes have to twiddle the knobs a few times to find it. hence the forgotten and uncertain answers. i generally only play around with 9v supplies and designing PCB layouts and testing circuits.
  21. i had a custom job from hayward and scott on my MR2 and that was a fantastic piece of kit.
  22. sounds like a good day. i'm still waiting to clean mine after the 600 mile si put on mine as she's proper filthy now
  23. i see fitted kit, i instantly think finished job nothing said otherwise?
  24. thats fair enough, its just you mentioned px, so those interested in selling and who wanted to px might be worth saying what you had. doesn't need to be full spec, i'm not selling, but was just being nosey wanted to know what you'd come from car wise.
