  1. the placxe i use is about £5 a corner, might have been £8 can't remember off hand
  2. i agree perfectly from where your coming from, but its not like alex is the sole UK distributor, you can still get one, only difference is it will come from a different post code. i just don't want to see you cut off your no to spite your face.
  3. shame as i think your shooting yourself in the foot with this, Alex is one of the best supplies for parts you need in an emergency and supplies kits for other things that no one else does. and gets lots of OEM parts at some of the best prices. not only that his customer services are great. he happily chats through any issues and will help you with the best solution, even if its not from him. not only that with emergency parts his delivery is extremely quick, qnd he has got several people out of a tight spot. at the end of the day, you'll still get a fly wheel, the only one who loses out is alex as he won't get your money. So you have to get it from another supplier, is that really such a big deal that you'll never buy again from him. i think it will be your loss at the end of the day but its your choice to make

can't stand twatter, i refuse point blank to use it the rest of you of course are more than welcome to it
  5. real shame nismo has gone abit sensible and soft. Zele is the one thing that for me really makes the 370z a really good option. shame their stuff is so expensive
  6. its nice, just wish for a 40th anniversay they gone more specialist. also looking forward to when they do a nismo version of the 370z, see if that gets my attention more. black edition is a good choice though
  7. Rich, pull your finger out son. That sounds like the dullest stag I've ever heard of....... possibly go paintballing, some spicy food, comedy club, bars and dance clubs, thats what he wanted, have to remember i'm the black sheep of my family, the rest of my folks are all church going folks. so strip clubs are off the list.
  8. We have a winner Also known as the 40th Anniversary Edition in other countries That or a red one although its refered to as the black edition, is it in that new style gunmetal colour, with the red leather ?
  9. is this to do with the black edition jobbie?
  10. its a fair comment, if you have a problerm with the car, how do you know if its the clutch or the flywheel that is wrong, if its sold as a setits easy to go back to the source of both parts. not saying that CS has given you dodgy parts, more the business perspective doesn't CS sell the fidanza as well? EPR might do them, i'm sure i've seen other traders on here who sell them. other option is http://tinyurl.com/yzfxd4u

    petrol!

all fule regardless of brand comes from the same refineries in the Uk, i think there are only about 7 of them, its what they do to it between refinery and petrol station. i've had good results from bp ultimate, and have no problem putting it in. i find that when i last put the sainsbury super unleaded in the car didn't run as well, it was far more lumpy (if that makes sense) bp fuel is only 1 ron out. both petrol stationsi.e. tesco and bp are on the same road and opposite each other, and its a toss up between who's cheapest, and whos busiest if i'm in a hurry.
  12. yeah come to think of it the previous owner was, well remembered sarnie
  13. yeah wasn't it previously owned by daily thompson
  14. if you can afford it, why wait? its all relative, you might buy it cheaper in 12 months but you might have to sell it for less at the other end.
  15. some nice plans, personally i'd leave the y pipe out if your going down the japspeed route. and get an xyz pipe from abbey m/s. the japspeed manifolds have built in decat pipes, so come mot time it would be a pain. the xyz pipe will allow a single easy to change pipe in the straight section which can have a choice of straight pipe, sport cat, or full cat.
  16. forgot to say, i use royal purple 5w30 other popular choice is silkolene pro s, in either of the above viscosity
  17. i never understand these giant weekends away, i had my stag doo about 2 18 months ago, went shooting, go karting, off to a really good curry house and then down the local for a lock in till 6 am. had a great time, wasn't looking for clubs and bars, and had to try and keep it fairly affordable, alot of my mates don't have a lot of cash, and i wanted as many of them as possible to come. i'm best man for my brother, and i've still got to sit down and organise his. he's getting married in august. so less than 6 months to plan something. i think we're going down to london. think a comedy club will be involved, but not sure on daytime entertainment yet of food in the evening.
  18. shame to see your selling up, but look forward to see what you do next. alot of my blood sweat and vinyl went into that car
  19. i'm not normally a porsche fan, but thats the one model i like.
  20. house cleaning products aren't bad. i used to clean my mums car interior as a kid with surface polish and a duster
