  1. yep the esprit isn't cheap, and as far as i'm aware there aren't any "cheaper verisons" available
  2. the esprit kit is a really nice piece of kit. the whole esprit car is
  3. erenso has a nismo you guys might be able to do a swap as he's looking for a change
  4. personally for resale i like to have a decent stamp in mine. its out of warranty now so main dealer isn't going to do it. even in warranty i'm dubious about letting nissan touch it. i think your local to me, i highly reccomend Team AFM at martlesham. they are motorsport mechanics and do alot of work on mine and they are very good with cars, come resale time it will show that the car has been well looked after. i bought my own consumables, so the price they charged me was about £220 ish i think. that also includes millers racing brake fluid which they supplied for me as they had a special on it at the time. they'll even follow the service to your instruction, i found exactly what was required on the forum for that mileage and service and they did it all. well worth a ring.
  5. Good luck and I'll see you in the married club soon.
  6. bollocks to you too martin, just cos you can say it in spanish doesn't make it any better.
  7. Thought it was 92? might be, all i remember is that me and my mate both had the same car mine was a 91 reg and his was a 94, mine could have de cats his couldn't
  8. 1994 was when cat's became compulsory but its measured on emmissions so unless they actually get under your car they aren't going to know.
  9. i just ordered USDM ones from there as well as UK rear. do you know what size you want, Measure the bracket, then find the plate size. can all be done on the plate builder part. or ring them and get a custom size made up for yourself.
  10. i to average 22-25 mpg costs £86 last fill up from empty get roughly 350 miles to the tank. mines a UK car so has the bigger fuel tank
  11. Yeah, but the car won't pass with them fitted i've heard of people passing with de cats in
  12. its why they have so many nukes, no need to distinguish between hostile and friendly just wipe the lot out in one go and apologise later
  13. i had colour preference, but went for the best car for the money ended up with silver, and its really grown on me, love it now, although i fancy a yellow car next time
  14. Personally I'd stick with abbey or rstuning. They are a known quantity and have good feedback with good results. Personally whn it comes to tinkering with the ecu I'd want the best job doing.
  15. Not a company that's been discussed on here before.
  16. This is from the country that goes deer hunting with armour piercing rounds. How many deers have you seen wearing Kevlar body armour. it's even in their constitution. You have the right bare arms and the right to arm bears.
  17. that or get over to hayward and scott, they will build you a full custom true dual for under £600 i think you can pick the tip style you want, and you can choose the noise you want, they will build it to your spec.
  18. theres one in suffolk at the end of this month, which i'm at or there is ISTS at silverstone this weekend. check the meets section. i'd watch that fujitbisho thingy can't spell on ebay, if its going for a good price i'd snap it up.
  19. yep the y pipe and hfc's or de cats will make a nice difference and should get the noise you want. in fact i'd get the XYZ pipe and de cats, then you can choose how you run it. if you find the straight y pipe and decats too loud you can put the HFC in on the XYZ and it will calm it down, and due to the fact that it has the special drop out fitting changing it takes a matter of seconds.
