  1. i'm glad for the info. things aren't diabolically bad, i could keep it but i want to reduce the debt quicker. i'm making all my payments, and i am already reducing it, but i'm sick of paying large amounts of interest. i don't want a shed as it will drive me up the wall, and i still want performance. just an older car. its not like i'm going bankrupt, but i'm getting annoyed of paying for bankers holidays with interest i'm paying. already sorting out consolidating my debt and getting a loan to cover it, etc. to reduce the interest i pay. but i quiet fancy cutting the debt size. hence looking at an older car.
  2. oh forgot to add the celica GT4 to the list
  3. paints4u use a fan shaped nozzle. i used to keep the nozzles off dead cans, then if i was buying cheap paint from halfrauds for other jobs i'd reuse the nozzles
  4. i'm not going to rush to sell it and not looking for a quick sell. will probably have it through most of the summer unless i get an offer before hand.
  5. i can't believe i'm writing this but i've got to a point where i need to man up and take some responsibility. without going into detail financially i've been struggling for a while and i have for quiet a while been sat with my head in the sand. but with mounting costs in life for a variety of things i have realised that the sensible thing to do is sell the zed to recoup some capital out of the car to clear the majority of debt. this is partly the reason i pulled out of wales. i need to sit down and work out what the car is worth and what i'll strip and what will stay for sale wise. but what i also need help with is what to replace it with. i'm looking at a maximum spend of about £5000 but would like some suggestions of what to get. i have been thinking about the RX7 but think i might be jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire finacially with one of those. other posibilities are: supra's GTO's Celica GT4's externally i like the evo's but internally i find the early ones vile. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  8. www.paints4u.com have very good quality nozzles for even distribution and reduced splatter. they also use high quality paint. if i was doing any spraying be it from a rattle can or a proffessional gun; this is the only place i'd get my paint from.

  15. Thanks for that tip yeah it works like a milling piece so it cuts a little bit away on each sweep. unlike a drill bit that has a sharp cutting angle that pulls itself into the hole. what happens is that the hole ends up being drill bit shaped and not round and as the drill bit turns against this shape as the material is clamped it shatters the plastic. you can use normal drill bits but you have to use and extremely light touch if your cutting anywhere near the edge of the plastic. towards the middle its not so bad as the integrity of the plastic can withstand the process. the thicker the plastic the easier it is to drill.
  16. I'm assuming that you have no idea just how much louder 20dB over the stock JDM box would actually be? To give you a hint, every 3dB is a DOUBLING of volume, so if the stock 'box was 90dB then 93dB would be twice as loud, and 96dB would be twice as loud as that and so on...! So what does that make my 122DB ...fighter jet loud ... That was before the s/c went on, its even louder now pardon? did someone say something, all i hear is a ringing sound in my ears. thats why ian types so much on here. to him the real world has no sound anymore.

  18. get a photobucket account, upload pics on there and then copy and paste the IMG code into a thread on here. You may also need to resize your pics. If you use microsoft it's a free download from MS power toys. As for Mac or Linux Also welcome to the forum, lots of clever peeps on here. photobucket does all the resizing for you when you upload
  19. its all local jargon, i first came across batchs and cobs in the midlands. stupid thing is a batch is a group of 6 and a cob is a male swan, so why the food related term i don't know. well actually i do. batches refer to the type of roll that comes in 6's and a cob is a shortening of the word cobble which the original roll looked like. so the term is not so much to do with where your from or who's right, but which bread you use
