  1. liking the brides, look good those sparcos' aren't bad either
  2. isnt TDI down that way as well. good selection near you, lots to pick from. my first choices would be Abbey and DMS. used DMS who have been very good; not used Abbey; but their reputation is spotless and they deal possibly with more Zeds than anyone else in the country.
  3. Rich you should point out those sizes are not standard for the OP's Zed sorry husky rang me and i pressed send before finishing my post. yes these are for my S2k, the point i was going to make was that in these sizes and the lower profile (compared to stock rays) they seem to work very well. the lighter car may also help as well.
  4. worst thing to do is mix across axles, mixing front to back is not the best idea but can be pass able. but for the price of falkens compared to other brands and the level of grip they'll give you i'd spend the extra 100.00 and get falkens all round. i'm running them all round at the moment and have been really impressed with them especially in the snow. mine are 255 35 18 and 225 30 18.
  5. doesnt seem for off to be honest for the age
  6. i didn't know faithless were still on the go. had some good stuff back in the old days, not heard any of their new stuff.
  7. it is one hell of a car to be seen in though; not a lot on the road like it.
  8. 7.5k bargain price there.
  9. so just drive sensibly its not like we don't have cameras over here?
  10. if you need the retractable plate holder drop me a pm; i might get another supply in of them. i might run another GB for people.
  11. +1 does look nice though
  12. sorry to see you go; whats the new toy you traded in for?
  13. sorry to hear this; if it helps with the costs you might be able to sell your engine off second hand for parts and spares. if your needing a new engine only 2 places i'd send it in england and thats R35LEE or Abbey; both know their stuff and both will make sure the car is back to normal.
  14. have to start a new order 1. jimgallaher - fullset - £15 if we get 10 people i'll cut another set.
  15. big NA engines are a dying breed, the bench mark at the moment is the BMW mini cooper engine 1.6 turbo; already being used by peugeot in the RCZ and other manufacturers are either looking at it or making their own versions. 1.6 seems to be the magic number. other things to look out for are dual FI setups that use both a supercharger and a turbo. means you can run bigger turbos with no lag as the supercharger works at the start then swaps to the turbo once the lag is ended. there is huge potential for tuning these kinds of engines. and getting more power is alot cheaper than trying to tune something like the V6. this is just the start, in the future we could see things like gas turbine engines,
  16. PIAA wipers and a bottle of PIAA Screen protect or Rainex and you have an unbeatable combination. water beads off my screen so i hardly use my wipers and when i do it is pristine. PIAA and RAINEX FTW
  17. sounds good, might have to have a spend myself, looks like agenius spending method.
