Hello and welcome! Rust isn't a huge problem on the 370z yet, we don't sell anywhere near as many rust replacement parts as we do for the 350z. If you want to disable Active Sound Enhancement (and you cannot do it programmatically with Nissan CONSULT) you can unplug (or cut) the ‘engine speed signal’ from the Bose Amp. Other than that, just the regular maintenance stuff, they're fairly solid cars apart from some common faults like the CSC's but that's not something you're going to spot on viewing one unless the pedal feels sticky or won't come back up. Worth checking if it's had the oil gallery gaskets done at all, if not, we'd recommend doing them at some point for peace of mind. Also, the steering locks can incur issues but it's not as common as the two issues above.

Best thing you can do around the £500 budget sound wise is a set of high flow cats or as others have said, have a browse for used systems. You'll struggle to find any new catbacks at that price point which aren't poor quality or terrible fitment.

Hi, if it's Vortech they always request for the unit to be shipped back to them in the USA and then fully rebuilt in house with them. That being said, you may be able to find someone local who can carry out the work but Vortech do not sell the rebuild parts on their own (we've asked for many customers )

Definitely sounds like the cat material inside of them is broken, causing it to rattle loosely inside, nothing to do with the Invidia Gemini, more so to do with the age and use of the OEM cats. It's a very common issue on 350z's, especially as they get older. That being said the HFC don't cause much drone whatsoever, most are 200 cell vs the OEM 600 cell.
