  1. At the very least, spin should be banned.
  2. Even working in the auto service industry as a repairing garage, 50% of my techs fully believed what they were being told about the NHS. They don't work for my any more (not because they voted leave), but I do wonder if they would vote differently if they got the chance. One works for Mercedes now
  3. Quite possibly a result of not being driven, or the test station not getting it hot enough. If it has sat for a few months, a decent drive will always help. Any advisories for a leak? They can affect the lambda result from pulling in air. It difficult to drive and get hot without an MOT in the first place though. Is it a standard system?
  4. I had the same issue with mine, it wouldn't work for the 1st 20 mins or so, or it'd skip on the smoothest of roads. Its well worth a replacement HU. Radio function worked fine on mine, it was a CD thing. I never tried the tape deck

You can get a hard wire kit from Halfords then run it from the fuse box. Some people mount them to the rear window pointing forward.
  8. I choked on my biscuit. I completely agree, she was on a hiding to nowhere, and will absolutely be scapegoated.
  9. The weakness of the leaders is reflected in the split in voters wants. Not one party has a candidate that has the charisma and strength to break the near 50/50 split. Is this because of the ease of which vast information can be acquired, the break down in popularity of news papers? The utilisation of social media? I think the decline of the newspaper has had a massive impact, particularly on the younger up and coming voters. I'm curious, political advertising is not allowed on TV, what restrictions are in place for Social Media based propaganda and the 'truth'?
  10. BOOOOO, you're no fun . Can't say anyone else would be any different.
  11. The difficulty is, to the opposition, no source is credible as they all have a biased agenda.
  12. Thanks Coldel, I thought it was that way too, it would be bloody typical to set up an EU army and chuck money at USA and Russia to mobilise it .
  13. I know we've moved on from the EU army somewhat, but which country manufactures the most arms? The UK has companies like BAE, Rolls Royce and Airbus (who predominately use RR engines), plus RR's nuclear Sub division. Not sure about fire arms and guns, being a Derby lad its all about aero engines . I can see both good and bad points of an EU army. Linking back to NATO, remember the controversy globally when France voted against the 9/11 rebellion? Could that happen under similar circumstances? If anyone invaded the UK, would the EU army sit and watch? No, we're still on the doorstep and trouble will spread...it just may cost us. My big thing with big united forces are that we end up becoming 'world police' (Stu mentioned earlier), which just reminds me of Team America. As a huge pacifist I'd be happier (hippier?) with no army's and one global currency/agenda...maybe its the star trek in me.
  14. Another question (aimed at the group), if we re-voted, and remain won this time, would Europe keep us? Or would they say its too late now, wheels are in motion plates are spinning?
  15. If for example Italy did also vote leave, would they need to create their own currency again? Asking for a friend. Maggz, if pigs flew and we had a 2nd vote, and it was the same result, would you be 'happy' to let it lie/accept the decision? The reason I ask is the remain people have been vocal about not liking the outcome from the beginning, before the legitimacy raised its head. When it did raise its head it was seized upon like straw being clutched. It is worth me stating I don't believe the process has been handled well, and I'm not trying to justify the leave outcome, as stated, im intrigued as to what will happen to the auto service industry for which I work in the future.

    Exhaust!? Loud lol

I fitted the Cobra resonated, and really like it, but its a little over £500. I've heard of fitment and quality issues with Japspeed exhausts, developing rattles etc.
  17. Dunno why, but this just popped into my head
  18. Working in the auto service industry, I'm unsure how this will go for us. On brakes alone, most of the parts are manufactured on the continent; Pagid Germany, Brembo Italy etc. I'm torn on the re-vote idea, on one hand more info has come out / been show to be wrong i.e. voters misled. But I agree with the notion we can't keep voting util we stay. Maybe in hindsight a 2/3's majority rule should have been implemented like when we decide who governs us, with it being so evenly split, emotions were always going to be close to the surface. As for the the TM questions, I think she'll be history's fall guy (gal?), and won't be in power one way or another long after the signing of the deal.
  19. Welcome along. I always thought mine revved a little high on idle too, you can do a throttle position reset, that might help. We'd love to see pictures we love that kind of thing. As for the 'raging' flywheel debate, I've converted mine from dual mass to single light weight, the engine picks up and loses revs quicker but will still idle the same, the rest is driving style and preference. I have to say I have found what Ekona said to be true, I've had to relearn throttle positions/rev response when heal/toe-ing because of it being quicker up and down the revs. By comparison I need no finesse in my dirty diesel daily.
  20. Hi All, For any of you that is into rock or metal music, the team that DJ'd on team rock before it closed down have set up there own station called, you guessed it, Primordial Radio. If you fancy giving it a go the website is primordialradio.com and you can use my free 3 month access code PR_xVOmZ9tZ Jay.
  21. There's a difference between de and hr clutch assemblies, do you definitely have the right one?
  22. Nice work mate. I couldn't join the road trip bit I had decorating to do.
  23. I've been toying with tinting my headlights for a while now and seeing @davey_83 with his is making me more inclined to do it. The problem is I'm torn between a light smoke, or light purple. There is a lot of black ok the car already and smoked might be over kill. I'm also considering getting some interior trim hydro dipped/wrapped in either a chrome purple or a purple carbon fibre type colour and purple lights might tie the interior and exterior together nicely. Thoughts on headlights would be appreciated and taken on board. Here is a recent pic to help judge.
  24. ^^My advise would be to not use lego bricks on the big one...but if you could get matching yellow axle stands, that'd be pretty ace.
  25. Ooohh the wife ain't happy. I invited her along and tried to get someone to have the kids, but she wasn't interested .
