  14. My mate (worked out of my workshop) used to teach wood turning at night class in schools, and I used to help. He is a hell of a turner though, member of 'The Worshipful Company of Wood Turners' an invite only jobbie. (they never asked me  )
  15. My dad had a Wolsey and it was the first car I drove. (I was 11) Maybe a year or so before I passed my test.
  16. Start a thread after Crimbo Rich, I'll dig out some old piccies. You would have loved my workshop a couple of years ago. Two Grad lathes(bowl and long bed),two lathes for miniatures. (my mate used to turn match sticks) And a metal lathe. Plus lots of dust extraction stuff. That is one of the most important bits. Bored.................I semi retired 20 years ago and have never got any time. On here know as I'm waiting for a phone call.... bloody NHS..
  17. Strange as it may seem, when we were learning to drive probably 90% of the cars were rear wheel drive. And we always seemed to get to work. That guy in the Wolsey is having a ball. (think it's a wooly) Edit. They were also the days of remould and radial tires. Same rubber on an axle.............hogwash. You'll be wanting tread on them next. (strange how bald tires kick the back end out better and make more noise)
  18. Agree Chris, but a lot of peoples 'hard drives' are like my wife's handbag....................... Full of crap.....
  19. Use your laptop for programs and store the crap elsewhere. 100 Gb of progs should be enough. Home Cloud ????? http://www.amazon.co...08770845&sr=8-3
  20. I know it's stating the obvious, but phone them up and ask. They might cover it and it's only a phone call at the end of the day if they don't.
