Third world will move to cheap electric mopeds from China especially if their governments start championing cleaner cities. China will just get the contracts for supply and demand. Imitation scooters as happened when the governor of Lagos tried to ban polluting mopeds. People were bringing in chinese mopeds the following day. Those that could afford it. Pollution will always be a topic thats unavoidable. Saying that in South Africa, Ghana and similar places have had an uptake in EVs with charging stations going up. Synthetic fuels will come down if Porsche are interested in getting other manufacturers involved as well as govt to allow it to be sold commercially.....if not forget it.... Why cant we just use E85 and be done with it. Brazil have been using E25/E100 type fuel for years. Its not as expensive adaptation to convert current cars to run that compared to converting to EV. But new cars can be made to take it. Instead of pushing for all out Electric. They can look at Brazil who since 1976 have been running Ethanol in all ICE cars. E25 up till 2003 and recently introducing E100...Helps that they produce Corn and Sugar cane (yummy) locally. Whereas it will be expensive for UK as its seasonal + import. With Brexit makes it more expensive..... Alternative fuels might not be economically viable especially with Brexit and our sunny weather not allowing anything to grow outside for 5 months......

As predicted new protos have started appearing on dealer sites in Japan at £68-£100,000 pounds. So within a year there should be some some 6-8 million Yen Zeds. Reality usually hits when the hype dies down.

Which Type R? -
For the gamers!

Lol get a scoop for us. Would you give up the Z for one? They sound good with unequal length headers! Subaru esq obviously down on Torque from 350Z. Around a track probably not much in it being 300kg lighter. Only 36 hp down allegedly. Might be less.
-
FK8 previous gen Type R those are around 30k or more. They seem to be holding or going up! 8k depends i dont think it will be that much on certain performance cars. It took a while for the first halfords hatchback one to go down even after the saloon landed. Multiple windows and incognito trick works wonders. Im sure some ppl gt in like that. Like PS5 all over again 😂 Ford had the right idea with 0% on the Mustang. Not sure that will ever happen again though. Believe me i used to take the **** out of it too. Then realized each to their own. As id never had the new car experience. Not for everyone though. Borrowing against the mortgage seems to be popular down here. Thats a step far for me though. I have a feeling there will be lots of GR86 for sale next year. At 32k from dealers as i cant see regular enthusiast's overpaying. Sure theyll go quick due to finance deals. Maybe one or two youtubers or trust fund kids overpayin privately

Looks like a £30,000 build though...A simple conversion without the extra widebody, resprays and go faster stickers would be around £10,000-£15,000. Engine, looms, tanks out batteries and motor in. The car weight also goes up to 1800-2200kg

ULEZ coming to a city near you

In terms of thefts around where I am its a mix of different groups doing the catalyst thefts etc. All groups from Europe, theres locals from all the usual communities. We have different crimes. In the more upmarket local areas they seem more affected by crime. Car theft, broad daylight break ins and catalyst are the main crimes. On Topic we were discussing ULEZ and the need to avoid its quick replication in other cities. People living in smaller towns might not care. Until they start having to pay tolls to visit the bank in the town center. It is what it is. It affects our annual meet in Ace Cafe if Euro 4/5 is implemented as part of ULEZ. Thats £12.50 to visit Ace Cafe. If replicated in other areas Brighton and Co could be next. Sure its inevitable but if anything can be done to slow the process then better. Its clear kids are more interested in EVs so not worried if in 2035 theres a ban or restrictions especially if these become weekend cars. Id have had my fun anyway. Despite all the arguments the Z as a weekend car and EV as a daily wouldn't bother me too much tbh. £12.50 is what it is to take the car out. My brother will be paying that anyway for his Supra -
I was half expecting someone to reply with "what do you expect" 😂 I signed up to GR Zoo forum there are members on there DMing ppl offering their cars for 35k until a dealer contacts them offering 36k to sell for more. I think only a handful of people have the cash however they sourced it to drop on a car right now with tax bills due etc. Most ppl would prefer finance. Toyota are increasing interest to 9.9% from 4.9% for later buyers on the mystery list. Also I think the Ford Mustang will face increased demand from last time too! Type R is sold out as well. The toyota was a bargain by comparison I mean this in the lightest jovial way possible but..... Where were you that morning when preorders where live for 90 minutes? I got an email after the fact. I knew it would be that day though! Lol My excuse was I hesitated and only just bought the Z assuming deliveries would be just after summer which they werent. So it would have worked out well if it was delivered early 2023! Anyone that wants a car is either on the waiting list with Toyota yet to reveal what position they are. Or ready to drop cash privately or knows the owner of a dealer whilst on a waiting list. Demo cars cant be sold for 12 months. Demo Reg numbers are being compiled on GR Zoo site. That way ppl know which cars have been run through 😂

I wouldn't be using such terms on here. You mean Irish travellers or Romany Gypsies? Loads of them around. They dont bother anyone here. They might fly tip, collect metal left outside or have one loud party a year. They also invade the park but are swiftly moved on within minutes. Thats about it. In terms of crime the rate is high. Different people are involved. Even locals that know the area. I think we should stay on topic! -
Received thanks!

People are trying to flip their deliveries at 36-38k 🤣 6-8k over list.

ofcourse work needs to be done. Its the wild west so not suprised. Hire a digger, hi vis and some axes and shovels. No ones looking. Depending on the area it should be that if its at night someone reports noise from works to the council, an inspector comes out and works not approved call police lol... -
Just like mine but Manual! Invidia Gemini too. The GT X pipe sounds fruity. Not as deep as Nismo H
-
Its a fail by the show researchers. Who asked the community for a suitable car.

Settings. As far as I know Window needs resetting and possibly clock. I got a new battery because mine went flat and left me stranded. A trickle charger would have been handy.

I have a charger at my house. The cable is locked in during charge. When charging stops it takes a minute or two to release on both ends. Assuming it works the same for public chargers. Obviously you risk losing your life interfering with a 240 volt cable Maybe theyre relying on safety cut off or being grounded 😂. One mistake.... -

I thought they were creating petrol like stations in UK with costa coffees/McDonald's and possibly cinemas at this rate of charge 😂. Dont believe the supercharge hype. Many EVs are not able to accomodate supercharge. Some companies were taking responsibility to create them across the country. Service stations should pop up with solely EV charging. Say 12 -16 charging points/bays similar to a petrol station. £7-£10 per charge for now
