  1. I love this kind of engineering. Wish I had the machinery, skill and time to carry out tasks like this. I imagine if you started making them for forum members you'll have people queuing up
  2. For sale I have 2 sets of 25mm Eibach pro spacers. Bring the oem rays out for the perfect look in my opinion. Normally £130ish a pair. I'm after £160 posted for both pairs or £90 posted for one pair.

    20mm Spacers

I have some 25mm if you can be persuaded 5mm further out
  4. So, update time and this time it's wheels..... Again. As much as I love the original Rays I've always had a hankering to go for something a little different. So when a set of original Enkei RPF1's came up for sale I thought they will fit the bill nicely. They are not perfect, 2 have a very slight curb rash but have had such little use they still have the original stickers on the barrels. They are 18" 10J and are unbelievable light at just 8.5kg that's only 250g more that the oem Rays which are only 8J! Tyres will be fitted this week. I'm having to fit 10mm spacers all round to make the offsets work, the only issue with this is I have to also fit extended studs so the car is currently up on axel stands once again with the studs removed. I've never removed wheel studs before and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. Just applied a little heat with a blow torch and they tap right out. The good news is this will give me the perfect opportunity to have a good clean up of the wheel wells, brakes, suspension and get everything spotless once again. Tyres will be fitted this week so with any luck, next weekend I'll be rolling on Enkeis!
  5. Price drop to £500. These are now off the car, waxed and ready to go.
  6. Not as quick as (some) cars in the bends but my RSV1000R factory was the most fun I've ever had on a track.
  7. Looking forward to seeing the results of this.
  8. I fitted them on my volvo v50 and the quality is very good. I've fitted eibach, H&R, Spax on previous cars and would rate the Vogtland as one of the better spring kits. The rides good to, the car is used by my other half as and she has never complained about it being too harsh.
  9. Thanks mate. Was that on 10J wheels? Did you have any clearance issues with the 295?
  10. Any one running these? Seem to get decent reviews and are available in the size I'm after (275 35 18). Would like to get an idea if these work well on the Z or if there is a better option. Cheers, Rich.
  11. Yikes! Better get the C spanners out and raise the coilovers!
  12. Thanks gents, they took some growing on me but I really do love the look of them in bronze. I'm only selling them as I've just picked up some Enki rpf1's and cannot justify having the rays sat around. I'll speak nicely to my mate who has a GM Z and see if he's up for doing a test fit on his car. That might help give people an idea of what they will look like on other colour Z's.
  13. Has any one heard from Suprawookie?! I think he might still be there. Fair play to you boys for going till 3am Saturday night haha.
  14. Japshow at Santa Pod this weekend. Had a quality time with some great people despite the changeable weather! Also on the way home my oil pressure sensor became faulty so that's another boring job that needs to be taken care of.
  15. Hi all, due to purchasing a new set of wheels up for sale are my rays. I had them refurbished on January the 29th of this year and have covered around 600 miles since so as you would expect they are immaculate. They were in very good condition when I purchased them from a member on here, I only had the refurb done as I fancied a colour change. The tyres are Kumho Ecsta LE sports all round which I find perform very well. Even ware on front and rear. Front: 225/45/18 5-6mm of tread Rear: 245/45/18 4-5mm of tread Collection only from Farnborough, Hampshire. Please excuse the rushed pics, they were taken before I had to shoot off to work this morning! There are plenty more decent ones on my build thread or I can email them if you PM me your details. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/102665-richs-black-import/page__st__40 Cheers, Rich.
  16. Very nice mate. It was a shame our pitch was a bit of a bog and a certain heavy footed member ended up getting stuck! All in all a great couple of days though. Nice to meet you guys.
  17. Think he means he silver bezels around the volt meter, oil pressure and digital gauge pods.
  18. Update time. Arbs, lower control arm polly bushes, brake lines, clutch line, rear toe and camber arms, full geo set up and HR bonnet all fitted. I searched the forum for a fast road/ track set up and found a post from philw99 that was recommended to be a good base to start with so I asked TGM to set up the car the up the same way. I am very happy with how the Z now drives, it was great before but now feels a lot more confidence inspiring and progressive in the bends. I can't wait to get it out on the track to really see what it can do. I've also got a set of Recaro SR seats that I'll be fitting as soon as the appropriate subframes arrive from jdmdistro, hopefully they will be here soon as other half isn't overly chuffed about having a pair of car seats in the lounge! I did explain to her that it was slightly more convenient than having the bonnet in there but sadly she didn't share my view point. I've replaced the original Injen filter with a nice new BMC one as it was look very tatty. Luckily for me the Injen hydroshield fitted the new filter perfectly. Pics.

  20. Yea, I'm just getting this page show up when I try the link to pay for camping. Any one else having problems?
  21. Jamez87 and me are GU14 but are camping so will be going up on the Saturday.
  22. I looked at the jdm distro site but the wait time look like 10-16 weeks or something and I'm not that paitant! If you are planning a GB give me a shout please mate.
  23. Hi all, I've just brought some Recaro SR seats and I'm now looking at the best mounting options for them. They are bottom mount seats so I've only found a couple of options so far the first being a planted technology sliding seat mount: http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=4984 The only issue is I believe I would have to put the subframes in then sliders on top of that and then the seat which may make them quite hight? The other option I found is something like this: https://conceptzperformance.com/bride-n160mo-super-low-seat-rail-lh-nissan-350z-03-08-z33_p_8947.php They look like a better option as the sliders are built in to the subframes which I assume will make the seats sit lower? The problem is I can't find any one who stocks them in the UK! Had any one else got any experience with fitting bottom mount bucket seats? If so how did you go about mounting them?
