Had a go at polishing my plenum today, not quite as good as the pros but it's come up ok. Also took the opportunity to give the inside of the plenum a good going over.

The imports have smaller tanks! You think you all have it bad, imagine doing the same MPG with a fuel tank the size of a thimble!

Mine will only take about £55 from empty!

I believe these pipes are to stop the TB being exposed to freezing temps. Once warm the coolent circulates through these pipes. As you say, it's a popular mod in the state's to keep intake temps down. As long as you're not driving in freezing conditions, I can't see bypassing it with a link pipe being an issue! Looking forward to seeing this CF plenum installed ^^^Beaten to it^^^

From what I've read they are a waste of money mate! Feel notchey and go stiff after a couple of months (ooohh err). Money would be better spent on a gear box oil change and added Molly slip!

Thanks mate I've just had a look and I think there's two lines on each front, one goes from the hard brake line to the strut then another goes from the strut to another hard line that goes in to the brembo. Is this the same as UK spec? I can't see the rear as it's too dark and wet to be getting the jack out but I assume it's just 1 line on each side which would make it a 6 line kit? If your man can confirm this then I'm in!

I have a Jap spec car with brembos, dose any one know which kit I will need?

Best thing I've done to my Z (in terms of drivability) is take off the 20's it came with and go back to Rays. Perhaps it's not as noticeable for you as you have 19's but I felt a big difference in the way the car drives. As above the car probably looks nicer on 19's but in my opinion it's not worth the trade off for performance so the Rays would get my vote!

Hi, for sale I have my 20" alloys made by Ace alloys. I believe they are a Veilside Andrew Baccarat rep's. They were on the car when I bought it but to be honest I didn't like the way it handled with them on so I have gone back to the standard Rays. They were fitted with 20mm spacers all round and you will need these to make get them to clear the Brembo's. Front: Falken 245/30ZR 20 Offset: 40 J: 8.5 Rear: Falken 275/30ZR 20 Offset: 38 J: 9.5 Asking £450 collected from Farnborough, Hampshire.

I have a blox type r shifter and a custom trimmed wheel is on my to do list

I'd say very good. The drivers side has slight ware to the bolster but the passanger side looks basically new. I clean and condition them with gliptone. I should add they are NOT heated though.
