  1. Got a couple more bits done on the car, fitted a motordyne thermal gasket to the plenum to help further reduce intake tempratures. Whilst I had the plenum off I got a bit carried away and decided to smooth off and "polish" the inside of the plenum to aide air flow. Has it made any difference to the power? Almost certainly not but for the sake of a couple of hours on the grinder/dremel I thought it would be rude not to try. Took a couple more pics with the lights installed. I can't help but think a nismo v2 front bumper would finish the car off nicly for external mods. I may just keep an eye out for one. Next couple of bits are on order from Adrian, a 380RS pedal and a v2-v3 upgrade kit for the SPL front camber arms as the v2 versions are a bit noisy. Also stocked up on Castrol edge ready for the next oil change this side of Christmas.
  2. Mine are recaro sr which I think came out of either a dc5 or a dc2. They are on jdmdistro subframes and sit more or less identical to the oem seats. Very good mod to do in my opinion, I find them more comfy than oem and far more supportive.
  3. Lights all done and car put back together. I also made an aluminum cover for the oil cooler for the colder winter months.
  4. Been playing with some lights for the last week. Only just got them back on the car today and the front bumper is still off. It was a lot more work than I was expecting to get them painted and adapt the wiring harness to suite a 6 pin connector but I think the final result will be worth it.
  5. I've got an Injen CAI on mine and can here it over my motordyne xtd2 system at some points in the rev range. Bear in mind that if it's a dayley driver with the UK weather the filter will take a battering so it's worth fitting a hydroshield over the filter.
  6. Nice one, just sent so it should be with you soon.í ½í¶’

  8. No issues that I can attribute to the drop links so far, I do have clunky suspension at the front but I think that is being caused by the SPL front camber/caster arms. The quality seemed alright to me, not amazing but for the price I'd say they are worth a go.
  9. Thanks for the comments guys. I agree about the lack of spoiler and am looking to get another one but don't know what to go for! I love the look of the ings bgw so that is a strong contender at the moment!
  10. I would say art pipes all the way but then I am bias! The smell issue seems to differ from car to car, I swapped my decat's for a set of art pipes with a friend. They made a very noticeable smell when on his car but on mine I haven't noticed any difference from the decat's. The art pipes are significantly quieter though. I have also seen that a few people have issues passing emotions test with HFC's so if you don't have an friendly mot tester near you I would suggest just swapping out the art pipes and fitting the oem cats to get through.
  11. Not got a clue to be honest mate, I would thing think they are all the same.
  12. Not too sure to be honest mate, I would think so. You are welcome to bolt one in and find out, I won't be offended if you decide you don't want them.
  13. Last bump before ebay, I'm open to offers
  14. From block to adaptor was a washer. From adaptor to sensor I used PTFE tape. Sorry, should have been more specific on my first response
  15. I used a copper sump plug washer.
  16. Haha I still can't believe it! Hopefully it was still in a usable shape when you got home.

  18. Bonnet and rear bumper now gone, only the side skirts left.
  19. Nothing too bad, the worst one is the one dead center at the front.
  20. Hi all, I was planning on keeping these but in reality I can't see me ever having a use for them and I don't have the space to store it all. I thought I'd offer it up for free as it seems a shame to take it all to the tip. Bonnet is in good condition, got the usual stone chips and the odd scratch but nothing you wouldn't expect from a 60k mileage car. Side skirts are decent enough, only the odd mark here and there. Rear bumper has a few small marks. It had nismo style rear spats attached so still has the tiger seal where they would go. Collection only from Farnborough, Hampshire.
  21. Awesome day and some very nice cars on display. One of the best organised stands I've been part of, many thanks Dan.
