  2. Having just paid for a front end respray a few months ago to get more stone chips is seriously annoying, I'd be interested in this being done after my next respray , in for info.
  3. I'm hoping to have all the mods I've bought and have sitting in the spare room fitted and the car remapped at Dynatune before we do our road trip in May. A Stillen Y pipe is the one to buy I think, so need to get a wanted post up for it, if not I believe Tarmac Sportz do them for £295.00. My car is pretty loud as it stand now, will decating and Y piping it make it tooooo loud ?.
  4. Stillen seem to get the best reviews from members and there's no flexible joint either and they are a decent price too. May even be able to get one off a member if one comes up for sale in the "for sale forum" cheaper, which would be even better lol.
  5. Can't not remap now mate, not after all the £££ spent on breathing mods. I know theres not much to be gained but lots of little bits to help breath and exhale will add up to a few more ponies at the wheel, but really looking to get the remap to get her running as sweet as she can with the mods and I will have to remap with fitting the decats.
  6. Need advice for my exhaust system guys. Currently the system is oem cats and Y pipe mated to Toyosports exhaust with mid box deleted (delete done by my local custom exhaust fabrication shop) and it sounds the dog nuts when over 3500 revs. I'm buying a set of what Im told are Japspeed decats from a member on here, but I want to replace the oem Y pipe also, so looking for advice on what will be the best fit to mate up with the Japspeed decats and the Toyosports exhaust. Been looking at the Stillen ones and they are reasonably priced but will they mate well with what's already there plus the decats. I know it's going to produce a bit of a mongrel exhaust as in Japspeed, Stillen and Toyosports and have thought about replacing the whole exhaust but I have other plans for my money, as in remap so don't want to blow it all on a new exhaust. I've done most if not all the inhale mods recommended, now want to push on with the exhale mods prior to fitting throttle controller and remap, what's your thoughts guys ??
  7. Big thanks to Adrian for the deal on the throttle controller deal, he even posted it up to me before he headed to China and before I'd even paid for it, great service yet again. Can't wait to get it fitted.
  8. I'm an unashamedly pro independence voter, always have been and voted that way for the last 32 years of my life, I absolutely hate being ruled by Westminster. I know fine well what they think of the Scottish in that place..... I worked there, for my sins. SNP are pro EU, I'm not, and will not vote for them again if they go against the majority of the Jocks, there's strong feeling up here to leave the EU. I haven't voted for independence for 32 years for to be ruled by a continent not even attached to my country, never mind Westminster. Sure the EU have done some good over the years but there been a load of shite that's come out of it as well, I want Norway's way of life, that's my Nirvana. Was reading a interesting article today about the strength of the EU's members and it made some valid points, but for me they were not as strong as the reasons to leave. Make no mistake, mass migration to this tiny Isle will finish us off in 20 years. Look what's happening in our major city's...........The locals can't get housed and buying is just not affordable.......why ?........ too much demand caused by too much migration. Same with hospital, doctors and dental appointments.......3 week wait anyone ?? Another thing that grinds me is this... Common wealth country residents can't just fly in here and set up home, but countries we've been at war with can ? How's that fair. Australian based points system for me on that front.
  9. They give a preferential rate for club members and don't have any apprentices. You'll pay £50 an hour + VAT, an independent will charge not far off if not the same. The senior mechanic is a former head Mercedes tech, and his partner in crime is a Nissan trained master tech. Take it to an independent by all means, ask them for a brand new courtesy car for @ £15, let us know if you get that and from whom please . If it's TLC for your car that you want, look no further + 1 for Infinity service, great guys
  10. Hmm no is not that was what the official Nissan shop had them for. .. a ridiculous 177 and 218 respectively. ... times two got me to roughly 750... Oem parts always more expensive, 300 quid will get you a good replacement set from h-Dev, well thought of dealer on this forum and you can fit them yourself easily, but if you don't fancy doing it then a garage should be charging an hour at most to do it
  11. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103544-350z-vertical-tonneau-boot-divider-group-buy/ Original post link here
  12. ^^^ as above, just vacuum pressure release because you filled her up and waited till near empty to put more fuel in
  13. Hope that's a typo error.............750 quid ??????????, are they diamond encrusted platenum ones, H-Dev, dealer on here has them for sale at £75.00 each Link here http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=25435
  14. Usually attend this gig every year but will be away on the NC500 road trip that weekend
  15. No. Unless you're Stevie Wonder. Disagree. For me the appeal of a 4x4 is to be as obnoxious as possible, as in reality very few people actually need one. So Cayenne and X6 fit that brief perfectly. There's literally no point in either of them. Thats why i love them! Obnoxious = 5.7 ltr V8 Jeep Commander with a custom built cat back straight through exhaust like mine. Love it's huge boxy aggressive style and very rare on uk roads, plenty of the little boys 3 ltr diesel versions, but the daddy is the V8 model. 0-60 in just over 7 secs, impressively smooth auto box and the first real mass produced 4x4 cars were jeeps, land rovers are just bad copies of the original . On the serious side though, GREAT cars and I've (touch wood) never had any issues with mine and comfy as anything I've ever sat in. Bought mine used on 56k miles and fully loaded with all the media and goodies. Cost the previous owner £55k new in 2006, I bought in 2013 for £8500 ....... bargain in my eyes and that V8 rumble is narvana. Spend a few bob on lowered stiffer springs and it completes the ride quality, oem is just too soft for uk roads
  16. Yip Mopedmark is the goto man for your polished plenum. Harness is still available and if you want it I'll keep it for you. I'm away on holiday for two weeks tomorrow so I can either send it to you tomorrow before I go and you can square me up when you get paid, or you can wait till I get back, I'm easy either way. PM me if your genuinely interested and we'll sort it out.
