  1. Polished Plenum, been on engine for less than 300 miles, supplied by Mopedmark. SOLD Polished Rare JDM harness cover as new, never fitted still in box, supplied by Torqen. Selling both my polished goodies as Ive decided to go down a different route with my engine dress modifications so these are being put up for sale. Looking for £150.00 if sold together or £80.00 individually. Price is inclusive of postage by Royal Mail to mainland GB, if a member from elswhere wants them it may be a little more on the postage cost. Cheers, Bri
  2. My Zed came with a new Toyosports exhaust fitted by the Alba Motors, the dealer I got it from, sounded good but not loud enough for me , so took it over to Pipe Dynamics in Fife and had the resonator deleted.............now we're talking
  3. Lots of places of interest along the route, best advice I can give is try not to just drive past them, stop and take in the views and take lots of photos, the Fairy pools on Isle of Skye is a must, as is Rannoch Moore and Glen Coe, there's an endless list of things to see and visit. Also the beaches on the north west coast are outstanding. Also if if your passing through Inverness, there's fort George military museum, that's a must if your interested in military history. Like I mentioned in my first post www.visit scotland.com is well worth looking at.
  4. It all in the planning....... and depends if you are going to do the full route. A 20 ltr jerry (in each car) is a very good plan as is filling up at every petrol station you pass..... They can be few and far between on the far north and west of Scotland, but it's not the moon either. www.visit scotland.com is a good starting point, as is doing a Google search for petrol stations on each road / route your planning to take. Be mindful that a lot of these roads are single track and barely black stuff coated on parts. Oh and in April it regularly pisses down up here so don't be setting off without good out door clothing. It can be up to 15 points colder up here compared to where your coming from. I would also get booking hotels soon, they are not plentiful on some of the places the NC500 takes in.

    Jag XFR

I love jags and I'm eyeing up a xkr 4.2 to add to my collection later this year. The xfr is nice but if it was my money it would be this xkrs http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201510248118142?onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&model=xkr-s&search-target=usedcars&quicksearch=true&sort=atcustom&radius=1500&page=1&postcode=eh224nz&make=jaguar&logcode=p Unfortunately my budget won't stretch to the above model
  14. Ohh yeah that is lovely. Not sure if it's £35K lovely but still very nice. GM........ that escort is .......as my 23yo Focus RS driving son would say "I'd gie ma left nut to own that". Lol Well a recent article I read said this guy got $350000 just for one nut which in GBP is only £24000 odd so he's still short on the money for that Escort. I just hope your son hasn't seen the ad then as he'll need to sell both nuts to afford that, ...unless he p/x's the Focus RS & one testicle for it of course. PMSL
  15. Being old school I can totally relate to that: I've owned every model of the escort from mkii to when they stopped making them and brought the focus out, but I've always wanted the mki and the itch gets worse the older I get !!!!...........One day though
