Welcome to the forum Chris, lots of members on here have gone from a Subaru to a 350Z myself included, although I am lucky enough to own both, a white 54 reg impreza sti spec c wr ltd and a black 06 350Z GT coupe, I have owned the spec c for 6 years now and the 350Z since feb, the intention when I bought the 350Z was to sell the spec c but I just cant do it, so for now I'm running both.

Had a full set of them fitted on my z earlier this year and I like them.

Had mine replaced in feb this year, after 3 days they started squealing again so took it back, I was told that its not unusual for new belts to stretch slightly after they bed in, they gave them a tighten and they have been fine ever since.

Welcome, I am lucky enough own both a 350Z & a spec c Subaru, but its amazing how many 350Z owners used to own Subaru's.

I seem to recall they changed the law a while back to protect the consumer, so if you buy a vehicle from a motor trader/dealer I'm sure its now law that the trader/dealer has to provide a minimum 3 month warranty.

So much for me not modifying this one, I managed to last a couple of weeks but could resist no more, so had some new 19" wheels & tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago.

:)Thanks for the warm welcome, its good to know there are other members who are as old/older than me, as for my other car its a white 2005 model [on a 54 plate] Subaru wrx sti spec c wr ltd quite a rare car only 1000 made and only 300 app in white and they were for the jdm only, mine has quite few mods on it and is now 355bhp/398ftlb not sure weather to sell it or keep it to be honest so for now its staying.

Hi all, Just signed up so thought I had better introduce myself, my name is Danny I'm in the Ashford surrey area, now this may shock a few of you, I'm 60 years old and I own a black 2006 350Z coupe GT, I have only had the car a couple of weeks but have to say I'm smitten with it already, although its not as fast as my other car it is a nice smooth ride and handles well so I'm happy with it, I will have to resist the urge to modify this one though otherwise it will fast become a never ending project that empties my bank account faster than even my ex wife could manage lol, mind you I said that about my other car but the urge won that battle, so that's a bit about me and my motor for now, I look forward to getting to know some of you on the forum. regards Danny.
