  1. Absolutely agree 100%. This is why I think we should pay our MPs significantly more than we do, get the big business owners with a proven track record interested in helping run the country. Stop this faffing around, it's the most important job in the country so we should pay a proper wage. Trump for PM ?
  2. What would be nice is for the LibDems to see a resurgence in popularity so they actually become a viable prospect ....... but I doubt thats going to happen either, we are either stuck with the nasty ones or the ineffective ones. Not being argumentative mate, but do you really rate Tim Fallon as PM material ?.
  3. WTF. .... who voted for her, jeezypeeps, what a incompetent person she really is
  4. If it's not been said already....get yourself down to Japfest at the end of the month, there's kicking 100 members from here going with all sorts of standard, modified and super modified Zeds attending. If you've not got transport down at the mo, I'm pretty sure there'll be a member close to you who would be happy to pick you up on route and bring you to the show. Edit: Don't make the mistake of limiting your buying area to 100 miles. It well worth travelling for the right car. Plus many members on here would be will to meet up with you to go and view the car with you
  5. I just tried this out of curiosity. ....came back with exactly the party I intend voting for as the highest %age
  6. Engine dress bolt kit arrived, super fast delivery Chris
  7. Tbh mate my adice would be to buy your Zed from a member off here. 9 times out of ten it's got great service history and a trackable life story, either by the way of a members build thread or by the owner posting about issues and how they resolved them and plus the fact we all love our Zeds and do tend to look after them very well. Plus it'll have mods that'll be on your wish list already, most likely. I bought mine from a member after he traded it in, but I was able to track it down on here and look up its history via his build thread. Nearly 3 years with it now and it's been faultless.
  8. If your a blind man and mix silver paint with pearl white paint you get Sunset Orange, so yes Sunset Ginga is the fastest colour
  9. Imho it really depends on if you are going to mod it or not, the older de Zeds have much more mod options and for under £1k you can get 300bhp, hr interior is nicer but again there's plenty of modding options to improve the cabin look in a de. If your keeping it standard (which I doubt you will), then the hr is the better option. btw and Ginger is the fastest colour
  10. Like I said bud, the local elections will be a good indicator. All the party's up here are trying to make it a council election, which it is but I think everybody will vote like it's a GE tbh. Snp is taking a lot of flak atm, but there is still no viable opposition in scotland now, there is no real contender to them, which is great if your snp and want a one party country (which is a dictatorship in my eyes), the real problem in politics just now up and down the UK is the sheer weakness and unelectability of candidates. I'm no tory voter but I also dislike snp' s grip on scotland and their current policies, so there is a strong chance I'd vote conservative as a tactical vote, but there again I can't stand Ruth Davidson. It's a real pity that in these "exciting political times" theres a real shed load of shitty candidates
  11. Don't really care as long as that moron Diane Abbot gets booted into the long grass, cannot for the life of me see where her voting appeal is. I think the local elections up and down the UK will give a good indicator of how it's going to pan out, and I'm expecting a lot of bloody noses up here. I actually think what she's doing is the right thing, as in her thinking that the EU negotiations will need the backing of the people, so that way at least when she gets re elected, she's got the mandate from the uk voters to drive the negotiations forward instead of fighting the EU and our own mp's. Also, anybody think that all leave voters, where ever their party loyalty's lie will vote for TM, and the remainers will still vote for the party they have historically voted for, which would divvy down Labours and libs and snp's vote share. If that pans out then the Cons will have a huge majority
  12. HAS TO be fueled on super unleaded petrol, uk models are mapped for super unleaded, although our Irish members struggle to get super unleaded and run on 95 octane, but not sure if Irish cars are mapped differently, gear boxes on early models generally have weak syncros and crunch if your too quick changing gears. From what I've gathered it can be any of the gears, not just specific ones. Mines is 5th gear but as long as I slow down the change to a couple of seconds it's fine. There's lots a wee issues with the car (like all cars) but there pretty much all covered here on the forum with the fixes too.
  13. Jeep Commander, Cherokee or Mitsubishi Shogun would be my choices, own the commander, brilliant v8 brute and reliable as anything and 7 seats. Mate had the Shogun lwb 7 seater also a great car. I am biased though as I like my 4x4 to look and feel like they are go anywhere do anything type of cars. Really dislike kid on 4x4 suv's.
  14. This'll be new one for a Zed forum mate...... everybody is always asking about lowering their Zed. I can't think of anyway except new suspension all round, except maybe tyres with a higher profile than the standard 45, but no idea how that would affect the ride of the car. Presumably your drive is on a incline ?
  15. Chris, apologies, I clean forgot about this. I'll get to the bank and make payment tomorrow first thing
  16. Uprev + D1 TC, make a great combo Durk...... just saying.
  17. Very cool, just read through your build thread too........ impressive mate, cars mint
  18. That's low as feck.......air ride kit ?
  19. I'm heading down on the Saturday from alloa with an evo 5 and a few mates in other cars. We're not the best organised for times usually but might find yous on the way down. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk I've updated my original OP now with meeting time
  20. Any Scottish or North West England members going down, we've got a group of about 6 cars heading down the M74 / M6 route if you fancy convoying up. link here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/113691-japfest-2017-jocks/#entry1721283. Meeting up with a few members from a local car club Clan Japan and heading down on the Saturday morning. Time is still to be confirmed at the minute though, but will update my OP when we get it sorted, hopefully in the next day or so.
  21. I think the rose black is subtle enough not to clash and does make a nice change from a solid black
