    GTR FRONT BUMPER

It's what I would imagine a Chinese knock off of a GTR to look like... EDIT: I stand corrected, it can get worse! http://jalopnik.com/5133009/nats-gt-k-horrifying-kei-car-nissan-gt-r

    Bugger

Gutted for you, I had this happen to a previous car - the offender even went to the trouble of writing a 'fake' note to leave on my windscreen with a fictional plate on it, so as to look like they were doing the right thing by onlookers. Scum!
  3. No, unfortunately not, it's for 'show use' only, does look good though, I think anyway...
  4. Did this to mine today...
  5. I used to have one of these (sold recently, this isn't my listing): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/G-Tech-Performance-Meter-Pro-0-60-bhp-g-force-meter-braking-distance-/221506897451?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item3392d7062b It was pretty damn accurate and received lots of positive reviews.
  6. You're basically consuming a tonne of sugar and carbs... and only undertaking light exercise. That really is a bad diet! I'm no featherweight either, but can successfully shed a fair bit of mass when I get enthusiastic about it. I'd recommend you drop the daily intake of chocolate and energy drinks at a minimum and get your heart rate up, there's no substitute.
  7. Tell me more...? It would be much better if it was off by default, with the option to turn it ON if you so desired. EDIT; 'IMO'
  8. In your opinion maybe, but in a lot of others, mine included that is a load of rubbish Not really a matter of opinion on this one, unless my TC is faulty / different to others (quite possible).
  9. Surprised at all the comments voting for the TC to be on all of the time, it's terribly over-cautious / restrictive / over-enthusiastic on the 350, fine for the daily commute but if you wan't to drive the car (completely legally) for any sort of enjoyment it quite simply has to be turned off!
  10. This is sad, but happens all the time at Silverstone, especially with the classic and vintage vehicles, lots of people driving beyond their limits.
  11. Seems to have done the trick, 30 miles and no light...
  12. Okay... been out and checked all connectors under both seats, all fine, light still flashing... Next move?!
  13. Today my airbag light illuminated and has remained on, flashing. I turned it off by doing the ignition trick, but it came back on after several miles of driving. I really don't want to take it to Nissan, is there anything I can do myself to remedy or pin point the issue? Are code readers available for our cars and can anybody recommend one? I'm assuming this would be my first port if call, but this is my first Nissan, so not sure how thorough their diagnostics are or if it will be much help in this scenario. All advice welcomed... the little flashing light is quite annoying!
  14. Zed is the daily, it's perfect for the job! This is the weekend toy... And the restoration project which has seen no restoration in 10+ years...
  15. What mileage does the gearbox have on it? Did you drive the car before it was broken? Any synchro issues in any of the gears including 5th / 6th at high speed?
  16. I have an aftermarket head unit - a JVC AWX-640, I fancy Bluetooth functionality, but have no idea if this would work, any ideas?
  17. It sounds like it has everything going for it, but that American styling is just naaaaasty! Something even it's mother couldn't love.
  18. It'll probably be absolutely fine in reality, but it's not something I would do. Get an oil and filter change at your earliest opportunity.
  19. Your oil looks pretty black for an oil change of a few weeks ago Edit: If you don't know what oil is in it, don't just go topping it up with something else, change the whole lot inc filter.

    Sill Trims

I'm after some of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-Z33-Genuine-Sill-Strip-Entry-Guards-Aluminium-Finish-999M1ZPEUR-/301198207674?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3A350+Z&hash=item4620cfeaba I'm sure I've seen a thread on here where somebody was selling some brand new at a good price, but can't for the life of me find it... anyone?
  21. Just ordered one of these, can I get a discount code for next time, or do they change monthly?
  22. Wow, that C4 looks / sounds great, I might have to try some of that. I was going to say I've heard nothing but good things about 303 Aerospace Protectant, might be worth a look also. http://www.amazon.co.uk/303-Aerospace-Protectant-16oz/dp/B005OJW3MK/ref=pd_sim_sbs_sg_2
  23. Mine has just passed 70k too, the previous owner has recently replaced fluids with genuine Nissan and Molyslip, so guessing it's something I'll just have to live with for the time being.
  24. I've just purchased my first zed and after covering some miles I've become familiar with all the known traits, I'm actually a fan of the unrefined characteristics! However, 6th gear does not like to select at speed. At 'normal' speeds it selects absolutely fine, but when 5th sees some higher revs, 6th will not select, it's as though it doesn't exist, you just hit a wall. Wait for the revs to drop and it'll slide in fine. It seems commonplace for the earlier gearboxes to crunch, and maybe mine would if I tried to force things, but that's not clever. Am I suffering from the effects of a worn syncro or could something else be at play here?
