  1. Sad day mate but congrats on selling. Will the new owner be on the forum? Right here Been really enjoying the car over the past few days, and already covered a fair few miles. I look forward to making use of the forum! Tom
  2. Better than expected - Morris Marina TC. Plenty of over-steer, sloppy handling and 100bhp gave it bags of character. Generally fun. Better than expected - 3rd Gen Honda Prelude 2.0i 16v 4WS. Everything is amazing about this car. Better than expected - Peugeot 309 GLD. Will go anywhere (on road and off, in and out of water) without getting stuck, well balanced chassis and incredibly reliable. Worse than expected - Seat Leon Cupra 1.8t. Flat, unresponsive engine, far too over-complicated for what it is. Generally un-inspiring. Met expectations - Mitsubishi Evo 2 - Knew it would be amazing, it is.
  3. What colour is the breaker?

    Wanted - 350z

As title says really, I'm after a 350z (preferably a GT with tan seats if I'm being picky) in standard form, minor modifications not a huge issue. Must have a comprehensive service history, preferably under 70k miles, not worried about year. I'm not in a rush so I am on the hunt for a good buy at a good price! Budget is around £6500 Thanks for reading!

    Ireland?

A good call! I am dialed in to the 'For Sale' section

    Ireland?

So whilst you can be sure, if you source your car from Ireland, that it will have lived its life on 95 - Who's to say any used car has received the 97/99 treatment? I can see this being more of a problem as used examples get older

    Ireland?

It's a good point, I wasn't aware that Ireland was limited to 95.

    Ireland?

I have noticed that z prices vary, wildly, for what seems to be no particular reason. I've been looking at a few Irish classifieds sites today, it seems that there are quite substantial savings to be had buying in Ireland and jumping on a ferry, with low mileage, late models going for thousands less than the UK. Does anybody have any experience or other knowledge regarding this? I'm trying to figure out why they are so much cheaper? Perhaps the €1800/year road tax makes them un-desirable? My understanding is that the NCT test is also incredibly thorough, so a car with a fresh ticket should be a good sign. I'd like to hear people's experience / opinion
  9. Hi all, been lurking here for a while, absorbing Based in Shropshire and currently drive a Leon Cupra (meh) and a Mitsubishi Evo 2, which spends most of it's time in the garage in pieces. I quite fancy a 350z as a daily drive, so just trying to educate myself as much as I can, they seem like relatively hassle free motors! Hopefully will end up spending some time here...
