  1. Ah okay, just thought it odd as it's never so much as hinted at a rattle - the exhaust system is pretty new etc and the SMF has always proved quite rattly and loud pulling away at low RPM. Hope you get it sorted and glad you're enjoying zed ownership!
  2. Jeff - This is normal, it's a single mass flywheel
  3. SOLD to the first viewer, who's bagged a gem, she'll be missed.
  4. Certainly - I'm located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire - SY4
  5. My Zed is up for sale! This is a truly great example and has proven to be ultra reliable and an absolute pleasure to own, it drives absolutely fantastically. This was always destined to be a keeper, the only reason I'm selling up is due to splitting with my partner and losing the garage / drive - which is the only place I'm comfortable keeping it, so it's got to go due to the change in circumstance. It's currently tucked away at my parents awaiting sale. It has an MOT until July 01st 2016 and has covered minimal miles since issue. Mileage is currently sitting at around 80k and is no longer in use. A decent amount of documented service history is included - the service book is fully stamped up to 70k, I have serviced myself twice over the last 10k - receipts for service items included. It's evidently been very well cared for throughout it's life. All major (and costly) serviceable items have already been seen to, so no worries of imminent bills after purchase - it's good to go! Here is a run-down of spec: Interior: · JVC AWX-640 touchscreen with USB/iPod connectivity hidden in the top glovebox and retaining steering wheel controls. · The amp for the sub has been repaired to prevent the sub cutting out randomly. · Reversing camera built into the numberplate light, switches automatically when reverse is engaged. · Audiobahn AS65V speakers to replace the poor rear OEM ones. · Aluminium gear knob and handbrake with alcantara gaiters. · Alzean (tan) leather fitted as a factory option, which is still in good condition. It has been treated with Gliptone Liquid Leather cleaner/conditioner regularly, and included in the sale is the dye to fix any future marks or scuffs. · Genuine Nissan mats with the 350Z logo on. Brakes: · Factory Brembo calipers. · DBA 4000 front discs. · Brembo pads all round. · HEL stainless steel braided lines. Wheels & Tyres: · Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round (nearly new). · Alloys were refurbished in May 2013; still in pretty good condition with only very minor blemishes, and certainly nowhere near enough to warrant me having them refurbished again. · Black wheel nuts, with the originals included. Engine, Drivetrain & Exhaust: · Plenum spacer fitted. · Uprev remap. · Cobra resonated exhaust fitted June 2012 on 60k miles, which is still in excellent condition. · Genuine ’06 airbox with Cosworth panel filter. · Exedy clutch and lightened flywheel fitted at 56k miles. · HKS grounding kit fitted. · Replacement starter motor (from ZMANALEX) fitted in October 2012. · Spark plugs replaced with Denso Iridium plugs in January 2011. · It had all the belts changed for Gates belts in June 2011 by the previous owner. · Receipt in the history file to show that the clicky axle was fixed by Nissan in 2007. · The gearbox is great with no notchiness or crunching even when cold, and has been even slicker since changing the gearbox oil for genuine Nissan 6MT oil with Molyslip. Exterior: · The roof has been wrapped in Hexis gloss black vinyl; easily removed if needed and the roof paint is in great condition underneath. · Front lip on the bumper has been sprayed with plasti-dip; again this could be easily removed you wanted to do so in the future and the paint is in great condition paint underneath. · New bonnet fitted by Nissan under their perforation warranty in April 2014. · Front plastic number plate holder has been removed, but is included in the sale. · Honda RDX Stubby Aerial (original included). The picture above is from last year, but the car sits now exactly as it did then - I'll update this week with some more. I'm asking £6700 Please PM on here if you are interested or have any questions
  6. Yup - You probably have, but just checking just in case it's something obvious, as the light will come back on otherwise. Failing that, I have no idea I'm afraid - I'm sure someone will though
  7. Have you wiggled the connections about before resetting?

    350z wanted!!

Chuck me a PM if you're interested in a really decent example - mine's up for grabs, but I haven't advertised yet. Absolutely no rust, wants for nothing, all major service items done - One of the best out there in your budget IMO - you would not be disappointed.

    350z wanted!!

I have friends who get really hung up on mileage, it doesn't bother me as it means nothing (within reason). These friends have gone out and bought low mileage cars that have very quickly needed new engines! The care and level of service the car has received over the miles covered is far more important.
  10. My (Orange!) zed will be up for sale imminently... This was the original advert: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/87603-for-sale-2004-sunset-gt-70k-now-sold/ It's had all the big bits replaced, needs nothing. Recent GoodYears all round, as well as new Brembo pads and a service - it's been well cared for. and welcome to the forum!
  11. Plenty of cars that aren't even of a sporting nature will keep up with the Zed, but what you learn after driving one for a while (as many have already said) is that it's not really about that. It's just a hugely joyful car to drive. It has more than enough poke to put a smile on your face, if you're into drag racing or peeling your head off the back of your seat, buy something boosted. I also have a Mitsubishi Evo 2 - the power delivery is incomparable, the zed is very linear, but that's great for a daily driver.
  12. Thanks, although now you mention it I think I may well have my originals tucked away too. It's the side badges I could really do with... I've been trawling the internet with no joy
