  1. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/89905-350z-gt-seat-repair/ And heated seats are easy to retrofit - about £90 to £100 (including the cost of the heater kit) should see you right.
  2. I've never been the biggest Bowie fan, but he had acres of talent and inspired countless artists and musicians over the decades A truly sad loss to the world! And coming so soon after Lemmy's passing as well.... RIP, sir!
  3. I don't think that the OEM steering wheels have a PCD as they're only attached to the column by a single nut....
  4. Would this "polished throttle body" service be open to people who have two throttle bodies off an old Datsun...?
  5. Cost for a pair of 350Z seats trimmed in a single colour leather with nothing fancy would be around £600, plus any associated delivery costs. And I've seen this chap ^^^^ turn out some superb results as well!
  6. I know from experience that these Celica sill covers are a pain to remove scratches from! I used Autosol on mine and it took me hours to get any kind of half-decent result
  7. I'm happy to give a quote if required
  8. As much as part of me misses the old SS-III, I love my silver Z32! Absolutely properly love it!
  9. I'll just post up the Jap ones Started out with a Celica SS-I. Woefully underpowered... my first full retrim... looked nice in the end Sold that and got an MR2 GT T-bar. Didn't have it for long as it was, again, not as rapid as I'd have liked! Once that went, I got the Celica I always promised myself: The SS-III Beams! Import only... 200bhp out of the box and all the goodies thrown at it by Toyota Beautiful looking car, in my opinion! After a year or so, I wanted more power and the options for the Beams engine were pretty limited unless I had thousands to spend. So, with a heavy heart, I sold her to make room for a 300ZX Twin Turbo: I always wanted the 2-seater version though, so I sold that one last year and got the little Z32 Shortie I have now The only car I miss is the Celica SS-III... she was superb machine, but just not rapid enough
  10. I'm in County Durham, but I have an "old" Z... Welcome aboard!
  11. If Mary managed a virgin birth, then there's nothing to say that this lady couldn't as well...
  12. My opinion: If she's having the baby and will more than likely be the one who does the majority of the driving with the little'un in the car, then her car is the one that should go the journey. Especially as both current cars are 2-seaters. Simple as that, as far as I'm concerned
  13. Anything's possible (given enough time and money) but harnesses would usually run at about the height of the bottom of the headrest. So the only way to reshape anything to accomodate harness slot would be to do away with the headrest completely and build an integral headrest (with harness slots) into both the foam beneath the covers and also into the metal frame itself. Wouldn't be easy, wouldn't be cheap!
  14. What a horrible position to be in...!!
  15. Or do the above and have everything you originally wanted, without the price tag you originally expected
  16. They're definitely aftermarket - even the OEM leather seats have that honeycomb vinyl on the rear and covering the airbag. Doesn't look like a particularly good retrim, if I'm honest....
  17. Not my work. Strange to see there's no topstitching on any of the seams, or at least that's how it looks in the picture.
  18. Find a pair of aftermarket seats with rails, then send them to me - leather and heating would cost you well below £1k!
  19. Retrim progress on this very Zed can be found here.
  20. I only met Martin for the first time at LakeZ this year and I was hoping I'd get to meet him more often than that... this is the man who enabled me to meet my childhood crush (Toyah) in the flesh...!! RIP, Martin... such a sad, sad loss...
  21. There's a rent-a-ramp place near Darlington, I think.
  22. For the two halves of the dashboard? £200, I reckon.
  23. Except faux suede has no UV protection whatsoever and will fade in the sunlight! There's a very good reason why Alcantara costs as much as it does...
